Kenneth Lofton Jr. has been named the 2022-23 NBA G League Rookie of the Year.

Lofton Jr. averaged 20.2 points and 10.5 rebounds in 17 games for the Memphis Hustle. 

Santa Cruz Warriors guard Lester Quinones and Rio Grande Valley Vipers forward Darius Days finished second and third in voting, respectively.

Past winners of the award include Paul Reed, Quinn Coo, Robert Covington and Tim Frazier.

Long Island Nets Head Coach Ronnie Burrell has been named the 2022-23 NBA G League Coach of the Year. 

Burrell is in his first season as Long Island’s head coach and his second season with the team overall after spending the 2019-20 season as an assistant coach. He also spent the 2018-19 season as a player development and video assistant in Brooklyn. Burrell led Long Island to a 23-9 overall record in the regular season, tied for the second-best record in the NBA G League this season. 

Mfiondu Kabengele has been named NBA G League Player of the Week for games played Monday, March 20 through Saturday, March 25.  

Kabengele averaged 27 points, 16.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists for the Maine Celtics.  

Kabengele is a Two-Way contract with the Boston Celtics.

Mac McClung has been named NBA G League Player of the Week for games played Monday, Feb. 27 through Sunday, March 5.  

The 2023 Slam Dunk champion averaged 28.7 points, 4.3 assists and 1.7 steals in three games for the Delaware Blue Coats (3-0).

McClung is on a Two-Way contract with the Philadelphia 76ers.
