Jan 9, 2019 11:02 PM

R.J. Hunter has agreed to sign with the Boston Celtics on a Two-Way contract.

Hunter was selected 28th overall by the Celtics in the 2015 NBA Draft.

Hunter has bounced around the G League since then. In 22 games this season, the 25-year-old averaged 22 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 4.3 assists. He also shot 42.6 percent from the field and 34.3 percent from behind the arc.

“I worked my ass off to become the best me on and off the court, and to come back to this organization a better person/player overall is a wild feeling,” Hunter wrote on Instagram Wednesday. “So much more work to be done but I just want to thank the Celtics for this opportunity.”
