The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed guard Sheldon Mac to a 10-day contract.

Mac (6-5, 198) has appeared in 41 games (two starts) this season with the Canton Charge, averaging 15.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.1 steals in 27.0 minutes per game. He played in Canton’s road contest against the Erie BayHawks last night, finishing with 19 points, five rebounds and three steals in 28 minutes. Mac, who went undrafted in the 2016 NBA Draft out of the University of Miami, appeared in 30 games (three starts) with Washington in 2016-17 as well as seven games for the Wizards during the 2017 NBA Playoffs.

The Cavaliers’ roster now stands at 17, including two Two-Way players.

LiAngelo Ball will sign with the Oklahoma City Blue in the G League, sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Ball had previously signed with the Blue as a practice player. 

The Cleveland Cavaliers will sign Sir’Dominic Pointer to a 10-day contract.

Pointer was selected by the Cavaliers with the 53rd pick of the 2015 NBA Draft. Pointer played internationally for several seasons before returning to play for the Canton Charge over the past two seasons.

Pointer is averaging 12.0 points on 44.4% from the field and 34.2% from 3-point range to go with 5.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.9 steals in 41 games.

LiAngelo Ball is expected to soon sign a G League contract.

Ball has been practicing with the Oklahoma City Blue of the G League.

Ball went undrafted in 2018 after playing briefly for UCLA and in Lithuania.
