Markieff Morris remains unhappy with the Phoenix Suns after the offseason trade of his brother, Marcus Morris, but he will report to training camp next week.

Morris was fined $10,000 for publicly demanding a trade.

The Suns have appeared to have no interest in accommodating Morris' wish for a trade.

The Minnesota Timberwolves remain committed to keeping Ricky Rubio.

There have been rumors this offseason of a possible trade involving Rubio.

"We're not talking to anybody about trading Ricky," said Milt Newton.

Rubio "is an integral part of our team" and "one of the best facilitators in the NBA," added Newton.

The Memphis Grizzlies had interest in Danilo Gallinari ahead of the 2015 trade deadline.

Jeff Green was acquired instead of Gallinari, who was used in a similar way at small forward and power forward.

The Nuggets could have acquired a future first rounder for Gallinari, but they instead kept him through the deadline and signed him to an extension this offseason.

Jamal Crawford's name has appeared in trade rumors throughout the offseason, but Doc Rivers said he intends to keep him.

"I've heard all the rumors about Jamal going other places," Rivers said. "Jamal's a Clipper and I would be very surprised if he's not a Clipper by the season's end."

Fred Roggin of The Beast 980 asked him again: "You're planning on keeping him right now?"

"Yeah," Rivers responded. "Yeah. Absolutely."

The New York Knicks aren't ready to engage in trade talks involving Carmelo Anthony, but Zach Lowe reports "they're getting closer."

When Anthony signed his deal in July of 2014, Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the belief within his camp was it was better to take the money from the Knicks and he could attempt to be traded if they were unable to become contenders.

Lowe followed up on the initial report by agreeing with Chris Herring's statement that the Knicks will discuss trading Anthony if they struggle as they did during the 14-15 season.

Anthony has a no-trade clause and a trade kicker in his deal.

The Phoenix Suns are not motivated to trade away Markieff Morris at this point despite his demands to be moved.

The Suns are hopeful they will be able to reconcile with Morris.
