Bradley Beal has been ruled out for the Phoenix Suns game against the San Antonio Spurs due to a back injury.

Beal has yet to appear in a regular season game.

Devin Booker was also listed as doubtful with a sprained left ankle. 

“Getting closer, not there yet. Definitely making progress," said Frank Vogel of the two players. 

De'Aron Fox is expected to miss some time with a right ankle sprain.

Fox picked up the injury in the Sacramento Kings' win on Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers. Fox stayed in the game and scored 37 points.

The Kings' starting lineup played the most minutes together of any five-man unit in the NBA during the 22-23 season.

Cam Johnson will be out at least 10 more days with a left calf strain that was initially diagnosed as a contusion.

Johnson suffered the injury in the Brooklyn Nets' regular season opener on Wednesday. Johnson was previously out with a hamstring strain.

Johnson underwent an MRI on the injury.

Draymond Green will make his season debut on Sunday. The Golden State Warriors are traveling to play at the Houston Rockets. Green missed the Warriors first two games of the season due to a sprained ankle suffered ahead of training camp.

Green said he would play "Tomorrow. For sure." when asked today. Green said he was unaware of any sort of minutes restriction, or if he would start of come off the bench. Chris Paul has started in Green's place in the Warriors first two games.

Devin Booker is doubtful and could miss his second straight game due to a sprained left ankle.

Beal has yet to play for the Suns this regular season. 

Anfernee Simons injured his right thumb during Wednesday’s game at the Los Angeles Clippers.

A subsequent MRI conducted Thursday evening revealed a tear of the ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) of the right thumb.  

Simons is set to have surgery and is expected to miss 4-6 weeks. 

Jarred Vanderbilt has been ruled out for at least two more weeks by the Los Angeles Lakers due to his left heel bursitis. 

The Lakers have started Taurean Prince in the first two games of the season.

Vanderbilt signed with the Lakers in the offseason on a four-year, $48 million extension.

Terance Mann will miss the Los Angeles Clippers' season opener against the Portland Trail Blazers with a left ankle sprain.

Mann, who was the subject of James Harden trade rumors, was recently named the fifth starter for the team. 

Jaden McDaniels is day-to-day with a left calf strain, the Minnesota Timberwolves announced on Tuesday.

McDaniels will miss the Timberwolves' regular season opener against the Raptors.

McDaniels recently signed a five-year, $136 million contract extension with the team. 

Jose Alvarado, who suffered a right ankle sprain during an offseason workout, recently reported discomfort in his injured ankle during his return to play program.

Alvarado was re-evaluated on Monday by Dr. Robert Anderson in Charlotte, North Carolina. Alvarado will continue his rehabilitation program and will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
