Kelly Oubre is targeting a return to the Philadelphia 76ers lineup next week, sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Oubre could return as early as next Wednesday against the Wizards.

Oubre has been out with fractured ribs after getting struck by a car earlier this month. 

Larry Nance Jr. re-aggravated his right rib fracture and is expected to miss approximately 4-6 weeks.  

Nance has appeared in 14 games this season with the New Orleans Pelicans, averaging 3.5 points and 4.1 rebounds in 15.1 minutes.

The Charlotte Hornets announced that further evaluation on guard LaMelo Ball revealed he suffered a right ankle sprain on Sunday, November 26 against Orlando.

The injury was confirmed by an MRI and Ball will be reevaluated in one week. Updates on his status will be provided as appropriate.

Ball has appeared in 177 games (157 starts) in four seasons since being selected by the Hornets with the third overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, averaging 19.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, 7.4 assists and 1.5 steals per game.

Bojan Bogdanovic could return from his calf strain as soon as Saturday.

The Detroit Pistons upgraded Bogdanovic to questionable for Thursday, but Saturday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers is a more realistic possibility.

The Pistons are 2-16 to start the season and have lost 15 straight games.

Bogdanovic averaged a career-best 21.6 points per game last season. 

Trey Murphy III could make his season debut as soon as Friday.

Murphy suffered a meniscus tear in early September.

Last season, Murphy averaged 14.5 points on 40% 3-point shooting and shooting 90% from the free throw line. 

CJ McCollum made his return to the New Orleans Pelicans lineup after missing the previous three weeks with a collapsed lung.

McCollum finished with 20 points 5 assists in his return.

McCollum is averaging 21.7 points and 5.7 assists on the season.

Gary Payton II is expected to miss the next several weeks due to a torn right calf.

Payton suffered the non-contact injury in the third quarter of the Warriors' loss to the Kings on Tuesday night.

Chris Paul, who also suffered an injury on Tuesday night, was ruled day-to-day with a lower left leg nerve contusion.

Chris Paul and Gary Payton II left the Golden State Warriors' 124-123 loss to the Sacramento Kings with injuries and did not return to the game.

Paul was ruled out with lower left leg soreness.

Payton left the game with a right calf injury.

The Warriors were eliminated from the In-Season Tournament with the loss. 

Jimmy Butler missed the Miami Heat's 131-124 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday with an ankle injury.

Butler also sat out Saturday's loss to the Nets with the injury.

The Heat were eliminated from the In-Season Tournament with the loss. 

LaMelo Ball is expected to miss an extended period of time with a serious sprain in his right ankle.

Tests show Ball avoided fracture in the ankle, which required surgery last season. Ball and the Charlotte Hornets are expected to have a cautious approach with the injury. 

Ball is currently in a walking boot and crutches.

Before the injury, Ball was averaging 24.7 points, 8.2 assists and 5.5 rebounds per game.
