The New Jersey Nets have recalled rookie forward Jordan Williams from the Springfield Armor.
Williams appeared in six games with the Armor, all starts, and averaged 10.5 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.7 blocks in 32 minutes. He shot .451 (23-51) from the field and .531 (17-32) from the line. He tallied three double-doubles.

The Bakersfield Jam have acquired forward Chu Maduabum. Maduabum was the first Jam player and the third player ever drafted from the NBA D-League by an NBA team.
The Los Angeles Lakers selected Maduabum with the 56th overall pick of the 2011 NBA Draft, trading his draft rights to the Denver Nuggets. He appeared in three games with the Jam during the 2010-11 season, averaging 0.7 points in 7.0 minutes.
Chris Wright was assigned to the Dakota Wizards of the NBA Development League, the Warriors announced Thursday.
Wright, 23, has appeared in five games this season, averaging one point in 3.2 minutes a contest. He was originally signed as a free agent on Dec. 12.
The Cleveland Cavaliers have assigned Luke Harangody to the Canton Charge. Harangody has appeared in five games with the Cavaliers this season, posting averages of 2.6 points on .455 shooting and 1.2 rebounds in 7.6 minutes per game. He will join the Charge on their three-game West Coast trip that begins tomorrow night at Bakersfield. |
The Los Angeles Lakers have assigned Derrick Caracter to the Los Angeles D-Fenders of the NBA Development League.
Caracter, who underwent surgery on December 14th to remove part of a torn lateral meniscus in his left knee, originally sustained the injury two days prior during Lakers training camp.
The Erie BayHawks have acquired Devin Brown from the league's available player pool.
Brown (6-5, 210) is a product of the University of Texas-San Antonio and has played parts of eight NBA seasons with seven different teams including Denver, San Antonio, Utah, New Orleans, Cleveland and Chicago.
The Bakersfield Jam have acquired forward/center Jamie Vanderbeken, the team announced.
Most recently, Vanderbeken played overseas in Greece. During his senior year at Iowa State, he averaged 11.1 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.7 blocks in 29 games. Vanderbeken was a member of the Canadian National Team in 2011.
Vanderbeken will make his Bakersfield debut this Thursday against the visiting Los Angeles D-Fenders.

Glen Grunwald announced today that the Knicks have recalled Jerome Jordan and Jeremy Lin from the Erie BayHawks of the NBA Development League.
Jordan, 7-0, 240-pounds, appeared in two games for Erie, averaging 18.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocks over 32.5 minutes. For the Knicks, he has scored eight points and grabbed eight rebounds over 29 minutes in six games.
Lin, 6-3, 200-pounds, posted a triple-double in his lone game with Erie, recording 28 points, 12 assists, 11 rebounds and two steals over 44 minutes in the Jan. 20 win at Maine. For the Knicks, he has recorded nine points, recorded two assists and two rebounds over 16 minutes in five games.
The Toronto Raptors have recalled center Solomon Alabi from the Bakersfield Jam, the team announced today.
Alabi, who was assigned to Bakersfield on January 4, played in nine games (eight as a starter) with the Jam, averaging 9.1 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.9 blocks in 21.2 minutes. He recorded two double-doubles, and had highs of 22 points on January 7 against Idaho and 15 rebounds on January 6 versus the Stampede.
