Paul George Fined $35,000 For Criticizing Officiating After Denver Loss

Paul George has been fined $35,000 for public criticism of the officiating. The fine amount is based in part on George’s history of public criticism of the officiating.

George made his comments to the media following the Clippers’ 111-108 loss to the Denver Nuggets on Nov. 14 at Ball Arena.

The NBA fined Klay Thompson, Rudy Gobert, and Jaden McDaniels $25,000 each for their roles during an on-court altercation between the Golden State Warriors and Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday night.

Thompson and McDaniels were ejected early from the game. 

Draymond Green received a five-game suspensions for forcibly grabbing Rudy Gobert.

Taylor Jenkins Fined $25K For Criticizing Officials

Memphis Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins was fined $25,000 for publicly criticizing NBA officials. Jenkins was critical of the officials following the Grizzlies loss to the Utah Jazz on Friday night.

Jenkins pointed out the free throw disparity, as well as what he felt were unfair calls against Jaren Jackson Jr. and Marcus Smart. Jenkins was quick to point out that he rarely criticizes officials following games, but said he felt this game warranted it.
