Hasheem Thabeet will continue to participate in informal 5-on-5 scrimmages with the New York Knicks next week, his agent Jerry Dianis told Ian Begley of SNY.tv.

Thabeet is also scheduled to work out with the Bucks for a second time from 9/8-9/12.

Thabeet last played in the NBA during the 2013-14 season. 

Eric Moreland has agreed to a camp deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Moreland played for the Phoenix Suns and Toronto Raptors last season.

Ben Moore is in advanced contract talks with Galatasaray.

Moore spent last season in the G League. Moore played two games with the Indiana Pacers in 17-18.

Moore recently had a workout with the Phoenix Suns.

The Dallas Mavericks have claimed Aric Holman off waivers.

The Los Angeles Lakers waived Holman in order to create a roster spot to sign Dwight Howard.

Holman went undrafted out of Mississippi State this offseason and then joined the Lakers for Summer League before signing an Exhibit 10 deal.

The Golden State Warriors have promoted Mike Dunleavy Jr. to Assistant General Manager.

Dunleavy joined the Warriors last season as a Pro Scout.

The Warriors selected Dunleavy with the third overall pick in the 2002 NBA Draft out of Duke.

The Golden State Warriors have hired Zaza Pachulia as a consultant.

Pachulia played on the Warriors in 2017 and 2018 before joining the Detroit Pistons for his final NBA season.

Trey Burke is confident he will win the Philadelphia 76ers' backup point guard job behind Ben Simmons over Raul Neto.

“I think throughout stretches of the game we [Burke and Simmons] can play together and I can be out there with the starting lineup at times,” Burke said. “That is the competitor in Trey Burke. That is who I am and what I bring to Philadelphia, if you ask me.”

Burke split time last season between the New York Knicks and Dallas Mavericks.

Burke also believes he could play some shooting guard beside Simmons.

“I have some experience playing off the ball,” he said. “The short time I was in Dallas, playing with Luka (Doncic), I felt we played really well together in our limited time together, even in New York I played off the ball.”

Burke is on a one-year, $1.8 million deal that is partially guaranteed. 

Kyrie Irving and Carmelo Anthony are "pushing" the Brooklyn Nets to sign Carmelo Anthony, according to a source that spoke with Frank Isola of The Athletic.

Anthony hasn't played since the beginning of the 18-19 season with the Houston Rockets.

It is unclear if Sean Marks is willing to take a chance on signing Anthony.

Anthony was scheduled to work out with a group of New York Knicks on Thursday in Manhattan.

Anthony's camp remains optimistic he will sign with an NBA team this offseason.

Joe Johnson has received interest from a number of NBA teams as he continues to look good in the Big 3.

Johnson will work out for the Philadelphia 76ers this week and is also expected to work out for the Los Angeles Clippers, Milwaukee Bucks and Denver Nuggets.

The New Orleans Pelicans also have interest in Johnson.

Johnson last played in the NBA in 17-18 with the Houston Rockets.

The Phoenix Suns will host Ben Moore for a workout this week.

Moore had an impressive performance against Team USA last week.

Moore has averaged 12.3 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 28.6 minutes per game over the past two seasons in the G League.
