Thon Maker has agreed to a non-guaranteed, training camp deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Maker averaged 4.7 points and 2.8 rebounds last season with the Pistons, who did not give him a qualifying offer.

The Cavs currently have 14 players under contract. 

The Milwaukee Bucks have rescinded their qualifying offer to Frank Mason, sources told Chris Haynes of Yahoo! Sports.

The 26-year-old Mason is now an unrestricted free agent. 

The Denver Nuggets have pulled their qualifying offer to Torrey Craig, sources told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Craig will now become an unrestricted free agent.

The 29-year-old Craig averaged 5.4 points and 3.3 rebounds last season. 

The New Orleans Pelicans announced their assistant coaching staff, including Teresa Weatherspoon.

The 54-year-old Weatherspoon is now the eighth full-time female assistant coach in the league.

Bob Beyer, Casey Hill and Rex Walters were unveiled as part of Stan Van Gundy's staff.

The team will also keep Fred Vinson on the staff. 

Otto Porter Jr. opted into his player option worth $28.4 million, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo! Sports.

The 27-year-old Porter averaged 11.9 points and 3.4 rebounds for the Bulls last season. 

Nicolas Batum will exercise his $27.1 million player option and return to the Hornets for the 2020-21 season, sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Batum averaged 3.6 points and 4.5 rebounds last season. 

Evan Fournier exercised his $17 million player option for the 2020-21 season and return to the Orlando Magic, sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Fournier averaged 18.5 points and 3.2 assists last season. 

Wesley Matthews declined his player option worth $2.7 million, sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.

The 34-year-old Matthews is reportedly attracting interest from the Lakers to replace Danny Green. 

Anthony Davis will decline his $28.7 million player option, sources told Chris Haynes of Yahoo! Sports.

Davis is set to become an unrestricted free agent.

Zach Guthrie has agreed to join Rick Carlisle's staff with the Dallas Mavericks, sources told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Guthrie was previously with the Jazz.

Guthrie will replace Stephan Silas on Carlisle's staff.
