Lopez Twins Turning Pro

Brook and Robin Lopez will both leave Stanford to enter the NBA draft.

Brook was the 7th player selected in RealGM's most recent mock draft and is assured of being a lottery pick.  Robin is projected to be a late first round or second round selection.

"This has been a very difficult decision for me because I really enjoyed my two years at Stanford," Robin Lopez said in a statement released to the AP. "I have always hoped I would have an opportunity to play in the NBA and I feel now is the right time to make that dream a reality."

"After a great deal of thought and discussion with my family, I feel it is the appropriate time to enter the NBA Draft," Brook Lopez said. "It is the dream of every basketball player to play and succeed in the NBA and I feel I am ready to take on this new challenge."

Jefferson Will Return To USC For Sophomore Season

USC forward Davon Jefferson will not be declaring for the NBA Draft, the L.A. Times is reporting.

"He is not declaring for the draft," said a source close to Jefferson. "He has not hired an agent, nor will he hire an agent. He looks forward to going back to USC and is 100% committed to the team."

Louisville's Caracter 'Definitely' Going Pro

Louisville's Derrick Caracter has definitively said that he will be entering the NBA Draft and leaving behind his two final collegiate seasons of eligibility.

"I'm definitely not coming back," Caracter said.

"The last three years have been difficult," said Caracter. "Not playing my senior year in high school to the weight issues my freshman year. But I've got to stay positive, that things are going to get better."

Hendrix Declares For Draft

Richard Hendrix, power forward for Alabama, will enter the NBA draft but won't hire an agent.

Hendrix's averaged 17.8 points and 10.1 rebounds a game.

Hendrix is listed 31st in RealGM's most recent mock draft.

USC's Gibson Wavering On Decision

While Taj Gibson has said he'll be back with the USC Trojans next season, he has not ruled out trying his luck in the NBA Draft, the L.A. Times are reporting.

Gibson is rated as a second round pick on nbadraft.net while he is slotted in position 42 in the RealGM mock draft.

Gibson is expected to think about his future over the next few days before making a decision.

K-State Coach Expects Beasley To Enter NBA Draft

Michael Beasley is still grappling with a decision, but his coach expects the Kansas State freshman to head into the NBA draft.

Frank Martin said in an interview with The Associated Press and the Manhattan Mercury on Tuesday he believes the power forward, even though he loves college life, will probably opt to turn pro.

?I think he?s going to go, and I think it?s the right thing to do, because he?s going to be the top pick in the draft,? Martin said.

UConn's Price Out Six Months After Tearing ACL

A.J. Price of UConn suffered a torn ACL in his left knee during the team's loss on Friday to San Diego.  He will be out six months.

Price had a breakout season and began receiving more attention as a pro prospect.

He suffered a brain hemorrhage during his freshman season and then was suspended for his sophomore season for stealing laptops.

N.C. State's Hickson Puts Name In Draft

J.J. Hickson of N.C. State will put his name in the NBA Draft, but will not hire an agent.

"He'll test the waters," said head coach Sidney Lowe. "He'll get all the information he can and decide what's the best thing. It may depend on where he's going in the draft."

ASU's Harden Says He Is Staying For Sophomore Season

Arizona State's James Harden said Tuesday that he plans to stay in Tempe for his sophomore season.

"I'm staying," said Harden in Los Angeles ahead of the Pac-10 tournament.

Harden was a first-team All-Pac-10 selection.
