Josh Smith was kicked out of Tuesday's practice by Larry Drew, according to a source.

Smith is suspended for Wednesday's game for conduct detrimental to the team.

Carmelo Anthony has been suspended one game by the NBA for his confrontation with Kevin Garnett.

Anthony attempted to confront Garnett following Monday's game at Madison Square Garden.

The NBA has announced that Rajon Rondo has been suspended from the Boston Celtics' game against the New York Knicks on Monday because of his contact with a referee Saturday and failure to cooperate with a league investigation.

The incident occurred in the third quarter of the Celtics' win on Saturday when Rondo was whistled for an offensive foul.

The Houston Rockets announced that they have suspended Royce White.

"The Houston Rockets have suspended Royce White effective immediately for refusing to provide services as required by his Uniform Player Contract," Daryl Morey said in a statement. "We will continue to work with Royce to hopefully come to a resolution."

White rejected the Rockets' D-League assignment last week, and the 16th pick in last June's draft has yet to play this season.
