The New Orleans Pelicans have waived Darius Miller and Patric Young.
Miller appeared in five games (one start) this season for the Pelicans, averaging 0.4 points and 0.2 rebounds in 8.6 minutes per game.
Young, who signed with the Pelicans as an undrafted free agent prior to the 2014-15 season, played in seven preseason games for New Orleans and averaged 1.4 points and 3.0 rebounds in 9.3 minutes per game.
New Orleans’ roster stands at 13.
The Cleveland Cavaliers have claimed A.J. Price off waivers.
Price was waived by the Indiana Pacers.
The Indiana Pacers announced they have waived A.J. Price.
The Pacers roster now stands at 15.
The Oklahoma City Thunder will release Sebastian Telfair with their hardship exception expiring.
The Thunder need to get down to the 15-player maximum roster size.
Oklahoma City will instead keep Ish Smith.
The Miami Heat signed Hassan Whiteside and waived Shannon Brown on Monday, the team announced.
Whiteside has appeared in three games for the Iowa Energy in the NBA Development League this season averaging 22.0 points, 15.7 rebounds, 5.33 blocks and 28.7 minutes while shooting 85.7 percent from the field, helping them to a perfect 3-0 record.
The Memphis Grizzlies waived Kalin Lucas and Hassan Whiteside.
Both players had re-signed with the Grizzlies on Nov. 19.
Lucas (6-1, 186) recorded one steal in six minutes in his NBA debut Wednesday at Toronto.
Whiteside (7-0, 275) originally signed with Memphis on Sept. 25 and saw action in five preseason contests before he was waived on Oct. 22.
The Philadelphia 76ers have waived Chris Johnson.
Johnson was waived in order to make room for the signing of Robert Covington.
The Golden State Warriors have waived Nemanja Nedovic, the team announced on Tuesday.
As a rookie in 2013-14, Nedovic appeared in 24 games and posted averages of 1.1 points, 0.5 assists and 0.6 rebounds in 5.9 minutes per contest.
Originally selected by the Phoenix Suns with the 30th overall pick of the 2013 NBA Draft, Golden State acquired the rights to Nedovic in a draft-day deal on June 27, 2013.
The Memphis Grizzlies have waived Kalin Lucas, the team announced on Sunday.
Lucas was signed last week after going to training camp with the Grizzlies.
The Utah Jazz have waived forward/guard Jordan Hamilton.
Following the move, the Jazz roster now stands at 14 players.
Hamilton (6-7, 220, Texas) was claimed off waivers by Utah on October 27 and was inactive for each of the Jazz’s first five games.
