The Memphis Grizzlies have signed guard Shaquille Harrison.

Harrison (6-4, 195), who signed a 10-day contract with the Grizzlies during the 2021-22 season, has competed in 180 regular season games (23 starts) over six NBA seasons with the Phoenix Suns, Chicago Bulls, Utah Jazz, Denver Nuggets, Brooklyn Nets and Portland Trail Blazers and has averaged 5.3 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 15.4 minutes.

Last season, he averaged 8.8 points, 4.4 rebounds and 6.0 assists in 24.0 minutes in five regular season games for the Trail Blazers before appearing in eight playoff games for the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Memphis Grizzlies have agreed to sign GG Jackson to a Two-Way contract.

Jackson was the No. 45 pick of the 2023 NBA draft out of South Carolina.

Jackson averaged 10.6 points and 4.8 rebounds over eight Summer League games.

Tee Morant, father of Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant, was a speaker at the Up Next Elite Camp. Morant gave high-profile up-and-coming players some advice related to their decision-making.

Morant told campers to "be mindful of every decision you make." He also told the players that his son was responsible for his own decisions, with no else to blame.

“My son didn’t get in trouble 'cause of people around him," Morant said. "He got in trouble because of his decisions.”

Ja Morant is suspended for the first 25 games of the 2023-24 season. This came down after a second incident where Morant flashed a handgun while being photographed and videoed.
