Thorn Dismisses Report On Frank Under Scrutiny

Mar 13, 2006 1:10 PM

A report in the New York Post that suggested Lawrence Frank was under greater scrutiny by management for the way he has used the bench that Rod Thorn assembled. Thorn dismissed it immediately.

"I think our coach does a terrific job," he said. "I think he has done a terrific job since we got him. I don't have any problems at all with our coach. He's definitely not in trouble. We're not getting rid of our coach."

"From time to time, I might disagree with things that go on, but that's why he's the coach and I'm not," Thorn said. "I don't ever enter into the coach's part of it, because I think he does a great job and if there's anything on my mind I'll say it to him or he'll say it to me. We have a great relationship. I like him and I think he does a terrific job."
