The Chicago Bulls and wing Javonte Green have agreed to a 10-day contract. Green has spent this season with the Santa Cruz Warriors of the G League.

Green previously played for Chicago from 2021 through 2023. The Bulls acquired Green from the Boston Celtics in a deal at the 2021 trade deadline.

In 10 games with Santa Cruz, Green has averaged 12.8 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game.

There is "growing buzz" that Lonzo Ball will attempt to play for the Chicago Bulls next season, according to K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago.

Ball has not played since January 14, 2022 due to a knee injury.

Ball has a player option for the 2024-25 season worth $21 million.

Johnson adds that there was little interest in acquiring Ball's contract at the trade deadline.

DeMar DeRozan and Luka Doncic have been named the NBA's Players of the Week for Week 20.

DeRozan averaged 29.8 points, 5.5 rebounds and 6.3 assists as the Chicago Bulls went 3.1.

Doncic averaged 37.7 points, 10.3 rebounds and 10.7 assists as the Dallas Mavericks went 2-1.
