Lindy Waters, Thunder Agree To Two-Year, $3.8M Deal

The Oklahoma City Thunder have converted Lindy Waters from a Two-Way contract to a two-year, $3.8 million deal. The Thunder will hold a team option on Waters for 23-24.

Waters has appeared in 25 games with the Thunder this season, averaging 4.4 points and 1.7 rebounds in 11.2 minutes.

Waters is represented by Aaron Turner.

Thunder Waive Eugene Omoruyi

The Oklahoma City Thunder have waived forward Eugene Omoruyi. Oklahoma City signed Omoruyi to a standard contract on February 10. Prior to that, Omoruyi had been with the Thunder on a Two-Way deal.

In 23 NBA games, Omoruyi averaged 4.9 points in 11.8 minutes per game. The 6-foot-6 forward briefly played with the Dallas Mavericks last season on a Two-Way deal.

Gilgeous-Alexander averaged 31.3 points and 6.3 assists as the Oklahoma City Thunder went 2-1.

The Oklahoma City Thunder has signed forward/center Olivier Sarr to a Two-Way Contract.
 
Sarr (6-11, 240) has appeared in four games this season for the Thunder’s G League affiliate, the Oklahoma City Blue, and averaged 11.8 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.50 blocks in 20.9 minutes per game. During the 2021-22 season, Sarr saw action in 22 games (two starts) for the Thunder and averaged 7.0 points on 57.4 percent shooting to go along with 4.2 rebounds in 19.1 minutes per game.

Lakers-Thunder Averages 2.98M Viewers, TNT's Most-Viewed Game Excluding Opening Night Since 2018

Tuesday night's game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunder, in which LeBron James broke the league's all-time scoring record, averaged 2.98 million viewers and a 1.7 rating on TNT.

The numbers represent TNT's most-watched regular season game outside of opening night and the Clippers-Lakers bubble restart since 2018. Outside of opening night and Christmas games, it was also the most-viewed game on cable since the Blazers-Lakers on January 31, 2020.

The game peaked with 3.7 million viewers from 11:45 pm to midnight.
