The Memphis Grizzlies will not pick up the fourth-year option of Josh Jackson.

Jackson was acquired by the Grizzlies from the Phoenix Suns this offseason.

Jackson is playing for the Grizzlies' G League affiliate as he tries to work his way back to the NBA. Jackson has had a number of off-the-court issues.

Memphis will have the space to re-sign Jackson should they try to keep him next summer.

The Memphis Grizzlies waived Ivan Rabb and Miles Plumlee, league sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Rabb averaged 5.8 points last season.

Plumlee averaged 4.4 points in 18 games for the Hawks last season.

Iman Shumpert has had contract talks with several teams, including the Memphis Grizzlies and Chicago Bulls.

Shumpert finished last season with the Houston Rockets and turned down a contract proposal before the start of camp.

Shumpert had a resurgent season in 18-19 and is still just 29 years old.

Andre Igudoala remains away from the Memphis Grizzlies as they pursue trade scenarios involving him. Igoudala is expected to end up with the Los Angeles Lakers or Los Angeles Clippers if he becomes a free agent.

"It's the two L.A. teams," said Adrian Wojnarowski. "It's the Lakers and it's the Clippers. If there is a buyout at some point. If Memphis can't trade him, it will come down to those two teams."

Wojnarowski adds Iguodala is comfortable sitting out the early part of the season at his age.

Bruno Caboclo has been mostly used as an oversized wing during his career, but the Memphis Grizzlies have begun to solely utilize him as a big.

While Caboclo doesn't have prototypical center size, he has the length and stretchability to work on as a center.

“We’ll probably utilize him in a lot of different spots, four and five,” Taylor Jenkins said. “We put him at (center) in Summer League and are just really getting him comfortable offensively where he has to be at his spots on the floor. Defensively, it’s a lot of pick-and-roll work that he’s been working on that’ll be a big focus for him defensively. And he’s playing off the court to get him ready to play that position.”

Caboclo has gained nearly 20 pounds since last season.

“I think I feel way more comfortable as a big,” Caboclo said. “My focus level is better too and helps a lot on shots, make good plays on defense and offense.”
