Brandon Jennings has signed with the Milwaukee Bucks for the remainder of the season.

Jennings came off his second 10-day contract with the Bucks on Friday.

Jennings began the current season in China and then joined the Wisconsin Herd of the G League.

While Jason Kidd's relationship with Giannis Antetokounmpo was one of the stronger ones with a player he had, sources say Milwaukee's franchise player grew weary of his relentless critiques.

Before Kidd was fired by the Bucks, Antetokounmpo called him and offered to help save his job. Kidd revealed that conversion to ESPN's Ramona Shelburne. Antetokounmpo was disappointed that Kidd revealed the private exchange.

"Did I think I lost the locker room? I didn't think I did," Kidd said. "My style? My voice was only heard when it needed to be heard. I let the other coaches do as much talking as I did, because I knew as a player, if you hear one voice, you can lose the locker room."

Giannis Antetokounmpo left the Bucks' loss on Wednesday to the Clippers with a right ankle sprain.

Antetokounmpo appeared to get hurt in the second quarter when he tripped over teammate Shabazz Muhammad under Milwaukee's basket.

Antetokounmpo went to the locker room with about four minutes remaining in the second quarter and did not return.

Joe Prunty didn't have an update available after the game.

The Milwaukee Bucks fired Jason Kidd as head coach in January and elevated Joe Prunty to the job on an interim basis.

The Bucks are unlikely to retain Prunty unless they win a playoff series.

If the Bucks do move on from Prunty, the belief is they want to make a big splash with their head coaching hire.

Sources say Jeff van Gundy and Kevin McHale are already on Milwaukee's list of candidates. Monty Williams, David Fizdale have also been mentioned as likely candidates.

Rick Pitino could also even receive at least exploratory interest.

The Milwaukee Bucks will sign Brandon Jennings to a second 10-day contract.

Jennings is averaging 6.0 points and 5.5 assists for the Bucks.

The Milwaukee Bucks have requested waivers on forward Mirza Teletovic.

Teletovic has been out due to blood clots.

“The health of our players is our primary concern,” said Bucks General Manager Jon Horst. “The Bucks and Mirza Teletovic, in consultation with team doctors and other physicians, have been working together since December to evaluate and manage Mirza’s situation. As a result of the overall evaluation that we’ve gone through, at this time we are both moving on.”

“We appreciate all of Mirza’s contributions to the Bucks organization and our community. We wish him a lifetime of good health with his family.”

In 10 games this season, Teletovic averaged 7.1 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.0 assist in 15.9 minutes per game while shooting 46.7 percent from 3-point range.

Brandon Jennings has agreed upon a 10-day contract with the Milwaukee Bucks.

Jennings was a first round pick by the Bucks in 2009.

Jennings recently joined the Wisconsin Herd of the G League.

The Milwaukee Bucks have requested waivers on guard Sean Kilpatrick to create a roster spot for Shabazz Muhammad. 

Kilpatrick was signed to a Two-Way contract with the Bucks on Dec. 18. On Jan. 7, Kilpatrick’s contract was converted to a standard NBA contract. Appearing in 23 games for Milwaukee, he averaged 4.0 points and 1.1 rebounds in 8.9 minutes per game. 

Kilpatrick began the season with Brooklyn and played in 16 games for the Nets, averaging 4.9 points and 2.2 rebounds in 11.4 minutes per contest. He was waived by Brooklyn on Dec. 7.

Shabazz Muhammad has agreed upon a buyout with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Muhammad agreed upon a one-year, $1.6 million deal with the Wolves late in free agency after he received tepid interest.

Muhammad has appeared in just 32 games this season and is averaging 9.4 minutes.

Shams Charania reports Muhammad will sign with the Bucks once he clears waivers. 

Mirza Teletovic has disputed a report that he will retire due to blood clots in each of his lungs.

The Bucks announced on Dec. 15th that Teletovic would be out indefinitely with the condition.

"It’s not over till I say it’s over recovery is going great," Teletovic wrote on Twitter.

Teletovic later posted a video on Instagram, providing further details on his situation.

“A post came out saying that I’m retiring," Teletovic said. "I just want to say to you guys that I’m not. I’m still taking the medication; I have some more time to drink it. Recovery’s going great. Have a good day.”
