There are six teams that still have their entire $12.4 million non-taxpayer midlevel exception available.

The Atlanta Hawks, Brooklyn Nets, Charlotte Hornets, Memphis Grizzlies, Portland Trail Blazers and Washington Wizards each have the exception. The Grizzlies and Hawks are clearly projected to be in the playoff picture, while the Nets could be on the fringe of it. The Hornets, Blazers and Wizards are expected to be in the lottery.

The Indiana Pacers have $7.5 million in room, while the Detroit Pistons, Houston Rockets, Orlando Magic, San Antonio Spurs and Utah Jazz have the $7.7 million room midlevel exception. 

Jared Butler has agreed to a Two-Way contract with the Washington Wizards.

Butler played with the Utah Jazz and Oklahoma City Thunder during his first two NBA seasons.
