DeMar DeRozan: We've Got To Get Tired Of Getting Our Butt Kicked

Mar 23, 2022 9:09 AM

The Chicago Bulls slide in the Eastern Conference standings continued on Tuesday. The Bulls were blown out by the Milwaukee Bucks to drop their ninth game out of their last 12 contest. Following the game, DeMar DeRozan acknowledged that the Bulls have to figure things out.

“At some point, we've got to get tired of getting our butt kicked like this and flip that switch of understanding, all right, enough is enough,” DeRozan said. “Now it's time to turn it around and show that desperation.”

Teammate Alex Caruso shared similar sentiments.

“We have plenty of talent on our team. It’s not about a talent issue. It’s about executing,” Caruso said. “Basketball at any level - middle school, high school, college, pro - winning basketball is winning basketball. It doesn’t change no matter what level you’re at."

Bulls Pulling Back On Lonzo Ball's Rehab

Mar 22, 2022 8:53 AM

The Chicago Bulls are pulling back on Lonzo Ball's rehab from knee surgery. Ball won't be completely shut down, but he won't do any running for the next 10 days.

Ball has been out of the Bulls lineup since January 15. Shortly thereafter, he had surgery to repair a torn meniscus. At that time, Ball was also diagnosed with a bone bruise. It's the bone bruise that is causing Ball issues now.

For now, Chicago isn't ruling Ball out for the season, but head coach Billy Donovan did acknowledge they are running out of time. If Ball can't run for 10 days, that will take him to the end of March. From there, it's unknown how much time he would need to be able to get into playing condition. The regular season ends on April 10.

Patrick Williams To Return For Bulls On Monday

Mar 20, 2022 12:40 PM

Chicago Bulls forward Patrick Williams is set to make his long-awaited return to the lineup. Williams will return on Monday for the Bulls game against the Toronto Raptors.

Williams hasn't played since October 28. In that game, Williams suffered a dislocated wrist and torn ligaments in the same hand/wrist. The second-year player's recovery timeline was originally set at 4-6 months, but there was some thought Williams might be lost for the season.

Chicago recently welcomed Alex Caruso back from a fractured wrist. Guard Lonzo Ball remains out following knee surgery. The return of Williams will help further strengthens the Bulls rotation heading into the playoffs.

Alex Caruso Says Grayson Allen Never Reached Out After Foul

Mar 19, 2022 3:45 PM

Alex Caruso was recently a guest on JJ Redick's Old Man and the Three podcast. Redick asked about the flagrant foul from Grayson Allen where Caruso fractured his wrist. Redick assumed Allen reached out following the play, but Caruso says that isn't the case.

"I never actually had a conversation with him, or a text or phone call. So, that’s still kind of up in the air," Caruso said.

Caruso also said despite the fact that he's playing that he's still not 100% recovered from the injury. The Bulls guard said he's still got a little way to go to rebuild full strength before he'll be back to normal.

Lonzo Ball Hasn't Responded Well In Rehab

Mar 19, 2022 8:41 AM

Chicago Bulls guard Lonzo Ball hasn't played since mid-January due to surgery on his left meniscus. And it doesn't sound like Ball's return is getting close either.

Speaking before Friday's game at Phoenix, Bulls coach Billy Donovan said "He has not responded" when asked about Ball's rehab. Donovan added that there have been no setbacks, but Ball hasn't been able to ramp up his activity.

With three weeks left in the regular season, time is running out for Ball to return. His original timetable was 6-8 weeks, and that has now passed. Chicago has 12 regular season games remaining.

Bulls Think Patrick Williams Will Return By End Of March

Mar 15, 2022 9:31 AM

The Chicago Bulls have dealt with a lot of injuries this season, including Patrick Williams doing down after just five games. Now, Williams is closing in on a return in the next couple of weeks.

Bulls coach Billy Donovan said that while no date has been set for Williams' return, he thinks it will happen before the end of March. That would give Williams a week or two to get into rhythm before the playoffs.

Williams hasn't played in a game since suffering a broken left wrist on October 28. At the time, it was thought Williams might be out for the season. Before getting injured, Williams had slotted in as a starting forward for the Bulls.

Donovan also added that no return-date has been set for Lonzo Ball. Ball is still progressing in his rehab from a bone bruise and meniscus tear in his left knee.

Chicago Bulls guard Alex Caruso returned on Saturday night from a 22-game absence due to a broken wrist. Caruso was injured on January 21 when he was flagrantly fouled by Milwaukee Bucks guard Grayson Allen.

Caruso scored 11 points on 4-of-8 shooting in his first game back. He also picked up four assists and snagged four steals.

Chicago went 12-10 while Caruso was out of the lineup. The Bulls are also hoping to get Lonzo Ball and Patrick Williams back before the regular season ends next month.

Caesars Sportsbook Illinois Promo Code: $1100 First Bet Insurance

Apr 20, 2022 1:42 PM

Illinois bettors, the time has finally come. Online registration has returned to the Land of Lincoln, meaning bettors will not need to be in-person to create a new account. New players can get in on the action by using Caesars Sportsbook Illinois promo code REALGMCZR to receive up to $1,100 in first bet insurance.

You simply need to register for a new account, make a deposit, then use the Caesars Sportsbook promo code to receive access to a first bet insurance. We’ll go over what’s changed in the Illinois landscape, how to register for a new Caesars IL account and how to earn one of the best sign-up bonuses available at Illinois betting sites.

With the NBA and NHL both nearing the postseason and March Madness betting is a little over a week away, now is the perfect time to register online for a new account and start earning all the perks and promotions that Caesars Sportsbook Illinois has to offer.

Caesars Sportsbook Illinois Promo Code Is Effective March 9

Caesars Sportsbook actually launched in Illinois in September 2020, but all registrations needed to happen in-person at the land-based Caesars casino in Metropolis, Illinois. That obviously was rather inconvenient for most of the state (including Chicago bettors), but that restriction was lifted, opening the door for betting apps to sign up new players online.

Bettors will simply need to go to the online sportsbook, use the Caesars Sportsbook Illinois promo code REALGMCZR, and then make their first deposit. Then they place first real money bet up to $1,100.

If that bet loses, Caesars Sportsbook Illinois will refund the original amount back in the form of a single free bet. We want to stress that this is a one-time offer upon registering. If you first place a $25 bet and then immediately make a $700 bet after, you’ll only receive the $25 as a risk-free bet. So, make the first bet count. You will have 30 days to use that free bet, and only profits from it are withdrawable, not the free bet itself.

Now that online registration has returned in Illinois, there’s no reason not to use the Caesars Sportsbook Illinois promo code REALGMCZR and earn that first bet insurance.

Caesars Sportsbook IL Offers Odds Boosts, Parlay Insurance

The first bet insurance isn’t the only perk that Illinois bettors can receive. Caesars IL is one of the premier sportsbooks in the sports betting industry, so it’s no surprise that it offers some of the best daily promotions to all of their bettors. These specific promotions rotate on a daily basis and often cater to the most popular sports betting markets at the time, but there will always be something to cash in on.

Whether it’s an odds boost, parlay insurance or a friend referral, each day that bettors log onto Caesars Sportsbook Illinois, there’s an opportunity to earn perks that will make your sports betting experience more memorable.

It’s all available with Caesars Sportsbook Illinois, and for the first time in almost a year, bettors won’t need to drive around the state just to sign up. All it takes is one click, Caesars Sportsbook Illinois promo code REALGMCZR  and a deposit, and you’ll be ready to roll.
