Khris Middleton underwent successful surgery yesterday to repair his ruptured left hamstring. The surgery was performed at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York by Dr. David Altchek. Middleton is expected to be sidelined for approximately six months. A timeline for his return to basketball activity will be established at a later date. Middleton suffered the injury during preseason workouts on Sept. 20.

Middleton’s rehabilitation will be conducted in Milwaukee under the direction of the Bucks medical and performance team with guidance from team orthopaedic physician Dr. William Raasch and the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin medical staff.

Middleton, 25, averaged a career-high 18.2 points, 4.2 assists and 1.7 steals last season along with 3.8 rebounds in 79 games. Originally selected by Detroit (39th overall) in the 2012 NBA Draft, Middleton has career averages of 13.2 points, 2.7 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 267 career games (201 starts).

The Houston Rockets have traded Michael Beasley to the Milwaukee Bucks for Tyler Ennis.

The Rockets signed Beasley at the end of the 15-16 season after he was finished with his season in China.

Beasley will give the Bucks depth on the wing with Khris Middleton out six months with a torn hamstring.

Ennis averaged 4.5 points, 2.1 assists and 1.6 rebounds in 14.2 minutes over 46 games last season for the Bucks. Ennis was the 18th overall pick out of Syracuse in 2014.

The Milwaukee Bucks will sign Jaleel Roberts to a camp deal.

Roberts played Summer League in 2015 with the Washington Wizards and also was with them for training camp.

Roberts went undrafted out of UNC Asheville. A 7-0 center, Roberts averaged 2.6 blocks in just 19.3 minutes per game in his senior season.

Middleton averaged 18.2 points in 36.1 minutes over 79 games last season for the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Bucks have been calling about acquiring a wing with Middleton expected to miss time with the injury.

The Milwaukee Bucks have agreed to a camp deal with Jabari Brown.

Brown appeared in 19 games with the Los Angeles Lakers during the 14-15 season, averaging 12.0 points, 1.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 29.9 minutes per game.

Brown averaged 32.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists in China last season.

J.J. O'Brien has signed a camp deal with the Milwaukee Bucks.

O'Brien averaged 14.1 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 36.0 minutes over 46 games last season in the D-League for the Idaho Stampede.

O'Brien went undrafted in 2015 out of San Diego State.

Stacey Augmon is close to joining the Milwaukee Bucks' coaching staff.

Augmon worked with the Bucks' Summer League team this year.

Augmon has spent the past five seasons as an assistant for UNLV.

Augmon had hoped to be considered for the UNLV head-coaching job after the departure of Dave Rice and expressed "disappointment" to the Las Vegas Review-Journal that he was passed over for the job. The position first ‎went to Chris Beard, then was given to Marvin Menzies after Beard lasted only a week before taking the job at Texas Tech.
