Tyreke Evans will work out with the Milwaukee Bucks in the coming days.

Evans is coming off a three-year suspension. Evans most recently played in 2019 for the Indiana Pacers.

The Bucks have one open roster spot.

Jevon Carter plans to sign with the Milwaukee Bucks once he clears waivers.

The Brooklyn Nets waived Carter in order to sign Goran Dragic.

Carter appeared in 46 games this season with the Nets, averaging 3.6 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 12.0 minutes.

The Milwaukee Bucks will sign DeAndre' Bembry to a contract for the remainder of the season.

The arrival of Bembry still leaves the Bucks with two open spots.

The Nets waived Bembry after needing a roster spot to complete the James Harden-Ben Simmons trade.

Bembry averaged 5.8 points and 3.2 rebounds, including 57% shooting and 41.7% from 3-point range.

The Milwaukee Bucks lost two valuable reserve guards this week. Donte DiVincenzo was traded to the Sacramento Kings at the deadline, and Pat Connaughton was lost to a fractured fourth metacarpal in his right hand.

Connaughton is expected to return before the end of the regular season, after having surgery on Monday. With a need for some backcourt depth in the interim, the Bucks are going to aggressively pursue Goran Dragic on the buyout market. Dragic is expected to reach a buyout agreement with the San Antonio Spurs soon. The Spurs acquired Dragic at last week's trade deadline.

Multiple playoff contenders are expected to chase Dragic. The Bucks can offer playing time and a key role on a team that is looking to repeat as NBA champions.

Serge Ibaka could have pocketed a nice chunk of change when he was traded on deadline day, but Ibaka waived his bonuses so that the four-team trade could be completed.

Ibaka could have collected nearly $400,000 when he was traded from the LA Clippers to the Milwaukee Bucks, but it could have made completing the deal more complicated from a salary-matching perspective. Ibaka waived his bonus to allow the deal to go through.

The Bucks expect Ibaka to play a big role as a backup center. Milwaukee is hopeful Brook Lopez will return this season, but no date has been set. Lopez is recovering from back surgery that he had in early-December.

The Milwaukee Bucks had approached Marc Gasol about returning to the NBA to sign with them as a late season addition, sources tell Zach Lowe of ESPN.

With Brook Lopez battling a back injury, the Bucks have been thin at center.

The Bucks managed to acquire Serge Ibaka at the deadline, which decreases the chances of signing Gasol.

Gasol spent last season with the Los Angeles Lakers in what was a disappointing campaign that contributed him to leave the NBA to sign with CB Girona.

In five games this season, Gasol is averaging 15.0 points, 10.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 22.6 minutes.

When the Milwaukee Bucks traded Donte DiVincenzo at the trade deadline, they did so because they felt good about their guard depth. That depth took a hit Thursday night, as Pat Connaughton suffered a fourth metacarpal fracture in his right hand.

At this time, it's unknown how long Connaughton will be out. Recovery time for similar injuries has ranged from six to ten weeks.

In 54 games (18 starts), Connaughton has averaged a career-high 10.1 points in a career-high 27 minutes per game. Connaughton has also been one Milwaukee's best long-ranger shooters, as he's at 40.7% from behind the arc.

The Bucks filled a frontcourt hole in the DiVincenzo trade, by acquiring Serge Ibaka. Now, with three open roster spots, Milwaukee will need to fill a hole on the wing via the buyout market.

The Sacramento Kings have agreed to trade Marvin Bagley III to the Detroit Pistons as part of a four-team trade. Detroit has long been linked with a deal for Bagley, who was picked second overall in 2018 and has had a disappointing tenure with the Kings.

The Kings will acquire Donte DiVincenzo from the Milwaukee Bucks. Sacramento will also acquire Josh Jackson and Trey Lyles from the Pistons. 

Milwaukee will acquire Serge Ibaka from the Los Angeles Clippers. With Brook Lopez out with a back injury, the Bucks needed to upgrade the center position.

The Kings previously tried to acquired DiVincenzo as part of the proposed Bogdan Bogdanovic sign-and-trade with the Bucks.

The Clippers will receive Semi Ojeleye and Rodney Hood from the Bucks.

James L. Edwards III reports the Pistons hope to sign Bagley to a multiyear deal in the offseason. Bagley will likely have a qualifying offer of $7.2 million as a restricted free agent. Troy Weaver had Bagley on his wish list since joining the Pistons in 2020. 

The Milwaukee Bucks have been without starting center Brook Lopez since opening night. Lopez played 28 minutes in the opener and hasn't played since, due to a back injury.

Lopez underwent surgery for the injury in early-December, but the Bucks have hope he may return before the end of the regular season. Head coach Mike Budenholzer said the team has received positive reports on Lopez's recovery from rechecks in Los Angeles.

Milwaukee has primarily started Bobby Portis at the five in Lopez's absence. The Bucks are known to be looking for another big on the trade market before Thursday's deadline.

The Boston Celtics are looking to get under the luxury tax line this season despite winning 12 of 15 games.

The Milwaukee Bucks have had discussions about trading for Dennis Schroder, while the Celtics have some interest in Donte DiVincenzo, sources tell Brian Windhorst of ESPN.

The Bucks and DiVincenzo were unable to agree to an extension last fall. Milwaukee has subsequently tested his trade value with several teams.
