Grayson Allen Suspended One Game For Flagrant Foul On Alex Caruso

The NBA announced that Milwaukee Bucks guard Grayson Allen has been suspended for one game. Allen was suspended for his flagrant foul against Alex Caruso during the Bucks game vs the Chicago Bulls on Friday.

Allen was assessed a Flagrant 2 foul on the play and was ejected from the game. Caruso fractured his right wrist on the play and will miss 6-8 weeks.

Allen will serve his suspension on January 26 when the Bucks travel to Cleveland to face the Cavaliers.

The Milwaukee Bucks have signed guard Lindell Wigginton to a Two-Way contract and requested waivers on Two-Way guard Javonte Smart.

Wigginton, a 6-1, 189-pound guard, has played in 17 games (11 starts) with the Wisconsin Herd this season and is averaging 17.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.9 assists in 30.8 minutes per game. The 23-year-old Canadian has reached double figures in scoring in 12 of his 17 games with the Herd this season, including seven games with 20+ points and two games with 30+ points.

After going undrafted in the 2019 NBA Draft following two seasons at Iowa State, Wigginton spent his first two professional seasons playing with the Iowa Wolves of the G League (2019-21) and internationally in the Israeli Basketball Premier League (2019-20) and Canadian Elite Basketball League (2020-21).

Signed to a Two-Way contract on Nov. 30, Smart appeared in 13 games (1 start) with the Bucks and averaged 2.4 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 12.3 minutes per game.

The Milwaukee Bucks have signed Langston Galloway to a 10-day contract under the NBA’s hardship allowance.

A 6-1, 200-pound guard, Galloway most recently appeared in four games with the Brooklyn Nets while on two 10-day contracts and averaged 3.0 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 14.5 minutes per game. Last season, the Saint Joseph’s product played in 40 games with the Phoenix Suns and averaged 4.8 points and 1.1 rebounds in 11.0 minutes per contest.

Undrafted in 2014 NBA Draft, Galloway has appeared in 449 career games (62 starts) with New York, New Orleans, Sacramento, Detroit, Phoenix and Brooklyn throughout his NBA career and holds averages of 8.1 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 21.8 minutes per game.
