The Minnesota Timberwolves moved Jeff Teague to the bench, with Jarrett Culver starting at point guard.

Ryan Saunders and Teague discussed the move over the weekend, sources told Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic. Teague was open to the idea due to Andrew Wiggins initiating most of the offense in the starting lineup.

Wiggins was listed as the starting point guard for the Wolves' 125-113 win over the Hawks.

Saunders confirmed Monday night that Teague introduced the idea of coming off the bench.
