The Golden State Warriors have interest in D'Angelo Russell in a potential sign-and-trade scenario with the Brooklyn Nets.

Kevin Durant has agreed to sign with the Nets, but the Warriors have long expressed interest in a sign-and-trade should he decide to leave.

Russell has also received interest from the Minnesota Timberwolves and Los Angeles Lakers.

The Minnesota Timberwolves enter free agency with interest in bringing back Ricky Rubio.

While the Wolves are prioritizing D'Angelo Russell, their Plan B at point guard is Rubio.

Rubio, however, has been strongly linked with the Indiana Pacers.

The Brooklyn Nets are expected to part ways with D'Angelo Russell once they receive a commitment from Kyrie Irving.

The Nets have no intention of keeping Russell to pair with Irving.

Brooklyn will help facilitate Russell getting to his preferred destination.

The Los Angeles Lakers have interest in Russell and have enough cap space to sign him. The Lakers traded away Russell in 2017.

The Minnesota Timberwolves also have interest in Russell.

The Minnesota Timberwolves will meet with D'Angelo Russell at the start of free agency.

Gersson Rosas, Ryan Saunders and Karl-Anthony Towns will be in on the meeting, which will take place in Los Angeles.

Towns is strongly supporting Minnesota's efforts to acquire Russell.

The Wolves would need to either trade Andrew Wiggins, or both Jeff Teague and Gorgui Dieng in order to clear space to sign Russell.

Russell's future with the Brooklyn Nets is unclear as they pursue Kyrie Irving.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have waived Cam Reynolds.

Reynolds signed a 10-day contract with the Wolves in February and then a multi-year deal in March.

Reynolds went undrafted out of Tulane in 2018.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have extended a qualifying offer to Tyus Jones, making him a restricted free agent. 

The 23-year-old Jones averaged 6.9 points and 4.8 assists for the Timberwolves last season. 

The Minnesota Timberwolves traded up from No. 11 to No. 6 as they didn't believe a difference-making player would be available to them that far down in the lottery.

The Wolves had a top tier of five players: Zion Williamson, Ja Morant, RJ Barrett, Darius Garland and Jarrett Culver.

The Wolves had discussions with the New Orleans Pelicans on moving up to No. 4, as well as the Cleveland Cavaliers on No. 5.

Minnesota eventually traded up to No. 6 with the Phoenix Suns and selected Culver.

The Wolves reportedly had Garland ahead of Culver, but Cleveland took him at No. 5. Atlanta selected De'Andre Hunter at No. 4.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are "up to something," according to Zach Lowe. 

D'Angelo Russell will be a restricted free agent and the Brooklyn Nets have been linked with Kyrie Irving.

"There has been a lot of Minnesota (signing) D'Angelo Russell noise," said Lowe. "And it's not all Karl Towns commenting on Instagram because they're friends. Minnesota has communicated to the league, not the NBA league, just the league at large that they believe they have a pathway to get D'Angelo Russell.

"I can't see what it is because they're capped out and they have all of these contracts nobody wants, but they've communicated that."

The Minnesota Timberwolves have agreed to sign Naz Reid to a Two-Way deal.

Reid went undrafted out of LSU.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have traded No. 11 and Dario Saric to the Phoenix Suns for the No. 6 pick.

The Wolves previously tried to trade up to Nos. 4 and 5.

Minnesota discussed flipping the pick to another team, but instead selected Jarrett Culver.
