Oklahoma City Thunder forward Darius Bazley has joined a long list of teammates to be ruled out for the season. Bazley suffered a non-displaced tibial plateau fracture in his right knee.

Bazley had been one of the more durable members of the Thunder lineup this season. The third-year forward had played in 69 games this year, with 53 starts. Bazley averaged 10.8 points, 6.3 rebounds and a block per game.

Oklahoma City recently ruled several other players out for the season. Bazley joins Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Josh Giddey, Lu Dort, Ty Jerome and Mike Muscala on the sidlines for the rest of the year.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have ruled out Shai Gilgeous-Alexander for the remainder of the season. Gilgeous-Alexander has been battling an ankle injury for several weeks.

Mark Daigneault said the Thunder consulted with Gilgeous-Alexander on the decision.

Gilgeous-Alexander signed a five-year, $172 million extension with the Thunder last offseason. 

Oklahoma City Thunder rookie Josh Giddey has been ruled out for the remainder of the season due to hip soreness. Giddey's initial campaign ends after 54 games.

The six-foot-eight guard hasn't played since February 24. Giddey was initially day-to-day with the sore hip, but the Thunder opted to shut down their prized rookie.

Giddey started in all 54 games he played. He averaged 12.5 points, 7.8 rebounds and 6.4 assists. The sixth pick in the 2021 NBA Draft had four triple-doubles as a rookie.

Lu Dort underwent a successful procedure on Tuesday to address a labrum tear in his left shoulder.

The procedure was performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache at the Kerlan Jobe Institute in Los Angeles, with Thunder medical personnel present.

Dort is expected to return to full basketball activities prior to the start of the 22-23 season. 

Josh Giddey and Scottie Barnes have been named the NBA's Rookies of the Month for February.

Giddey averaged 16.3 points, 8.7 rebounds and 7.7 assists in February.

Barnes averaged 15.2 points and 6.8 rebounds.
