Carmelo Anthony has agreed to a one-year deal to re-sign with the Portland Trail Blazers for the veteran's minimum, sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Anthony reportedly wanted to show loyalty to the Blazers, who gave him an opportunity to return to the league last season.
Anthony averaged 15.4 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists during the regular season while making 39% of his 3-pointers.
Derrick Jones Jr. has agreed to a two-year, $19 million deal with the Portland Trail Blazers.
Jones averaged 8.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 23.3 minutes per game last season with the Miami Heat.
The Portland Trail Blazers have agreed to sign Rodney Hood on a two-year, $21 million deal.
The second season on Hood's deal is non-guaranteed.
Hood tore his Achilles last December.
The Portland Trail Blazers have agreed to acquire Enes Kaner from the Boston Celtics in a three-way deal with the Memphis Grizzlies.
Kanter had a successful playoff run with the Blazers in 2019. Kanter opted into his $5 million contract for 20-21 this week.
The Grizzlies will acquire Mario Hezonjia and the 30th overall pick in this week's draft, which was Desmond Bane.
Memphis will send future draft consideration to the Celtics.
Rodney Hood will decline his $6 million player option with the Portland Trail Blazers to become a free agent. Hood becomes one of the NBA's only players to decline an option for free agency this offseason.
Hood signed a two-year, $16 million deal with the Blazers in 2019.
Hood suffered a torn Achilles last December.
The Portland Trail Blazers will acquire Robert Covington from the Houston Rockets for Trevor Ariza, the No. 16 pick in Wednesday's draft and another future first round pick.
The deal cannot be finalized until after Wednesday's draft.
Houston acquired Covington at the trade deadline from the Minnesota Timberwolves in which they sent out Clint Capela and their 2020 first round pick.
Covington is signed for two more seasons.
The Portland Trail Blazers are expected to pursue Paul Millsap.
Millsap will turn 36 this season but he would give the Blazers depth in the frontcourt.
Millsap signed a three-year, $90 million deal with the Denver Nuggets in 2017.
