Jerami Grant acknowledged that the Portland Trail Blazers have offered him a contract extension. Grant also said he's in no rush to ink that deal, but said it has nothing to do with his happiness level in Portland.

“I’m kind of focused on the season at hand right now. Probably will wait until after the season and talk to (GM) Joe (Cronin)," Grant said. "Everything is good. I like it here. Really enjoying it. So, yeah…we will discuss it when it’s time.”

Reports came out that the Blazers offered Grant a four-year, $112.6 million extension. That's the max Portland can offer Grant as a veteran extension. If Grant doesn't extend by the June 30 deadline, he'll be an unrestricted free agent on July 1. At that point, Grant will be eligible to sign up to a five-year, $233.2 million deal with the Trail Blazers, or a four-year, $172.9 million deal with another team.

Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports reported last week that Grant has not accepted the offer of $112 million over four years as he expects to make more as an outright free agent this offseason. The Blazers can offer more money and an extra year to Grant this offseason.

The Blazers acquired Grant from the Detroit Pistons this past offseason.

Grant is averaging 21.3 points, 2.4 assists and 4.4 rebounds this season with the Blazers.

Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo have been named the NBA's Players of the Week for Week 15.

Lillard averaged 42.3 points and 7.7 assists as the Portland Trail Blazers went 2-1.

Antetokounmpo averaged 38.3 points, 12.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists as the Milwaukee Bucks went 4-0.

The Portland Trail Blazers have no intentions of trading Jerami Grant after he turned down an extension offer. Obviously, Damian Lillard isn't going anywhere either. The rest of the roster is in far more flux.

The Blazers have told rival teams they are open to discussing trades for everyone else on the roster. This includes both Josh Hart and Jusuf Nurkic.

Hart has a quirky contract for next season. He has a player option, but should he exercise it, Hart's deal becomes non-guaranteed. Thus, Portland still retains control. Given that, it's expected that Hart will opt out for unrestricted free agency this summer. And that could have the Trail Blazers open to moving him before risking losing Hart for nothing.

Nurkic has had a bit of a weird season. He's been solid offensively, but his defense leaves a lot to be desired. For a Portland team that needs to protect their guards on the defensive end, there's a thought that moving Nurkic (and the $54.4 million he's owed through the next three season) could be a way to rebalance the roster some.

The Portland Trail Blazers are "intensely engrossed" with trying to improve their roster ahead of the deadline and have no plans to tank, sources tell Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report.

The Blazers continue to believe they can build a contender around Damian Lillard. But the Blazers have lost 13 of 19 games and are now 13th in the West.

The Blazers are looking for shooting, size and depth. Portland ranks last in points off the bench with just 24.0 points per game.

Nassir Little has began on-court activities in preparation for a return, the Portland Trail Blazers announced on Thursday.

Little was ruled out due to a right hip fracture suffered in early December.

The team also announced that Justise Winslow will miss at least two more weeks with a sprained left ankle. 

Shaedon Sharpe has agreed to participate in the Slam Dunk Contest at All-Star Weekend, sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Sharpe is currently averaging 7.9 points in 19.7 minutes per game this season.

All-Star Weekend runs from February 17-19 in Salt Lake City.

Gary Payton II is listed as available and could make his Portland Trail Blazers debut against the Detroit Pistons on Monday.

Payton, who signed a three-year, $26.1 million contract last summer, has been out following offseason surgery.
