The Sacramento Kings have signed Louis King to a Two-Way contract.

King played in 10 games with the Detroit Pistons during the 19-20 season.

King averaged 13.7 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.0 assists while shooting 45.6 percent on three-pointers for the Westchester Knicks in the G League bubble.

The Sacramento Kings have agreed to sign Chimezie Metu to a multi-year deal.

“Chimezie has worked hard this season and done a terrific job to earn his place on the team,” said Monte McNair. “He provides toughness and energy to the group. We are happy to watch his career develop in a Kings uniform.”

During the 2020-21 season, Metu has appeared in 28 games (no starts) with the Kings, averaging 5.1 points (.556 FG%, .690 FT%), 2.5 rebounds and 10.2 minutes per game.

The Sacramento Kings have agreed to sign Damian Jones to a contract for the remainder of the 20-21 season as well as the 21-22 season.

Jones has averaged 3.8 points and 3.7 rebounds in 15 minutes per game since signing two consecutive 10-day contracts.

The Kings will also waive Chris Silva.

De'Aaron Fox is set to miss 10-14 days due to health and safety protocols, sources told Shams Charania and Sam Amick of The Athletic. 

The Kings are currently five games out of the play-in game as the 10th seed. 

Damian Jones has signed a second 10-day contract with the Sacramento Kings.

Jones has averaged 13 minutes over three games with the Kings.

Jones was previously on a 10-day contract with the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Houston Rockets have claimed DaQuan Jeffries off waivers.

Jeffries is under contract though next season.

The Sacramento Kings released Jeffries last week. Jeffries has averaged 3.5 points and 1.6 rebounds in 12.9 minutes over 18 games this season with the Kings. Jeffries went undrafted in 2019.

The Sacramento Kings signed Damian Jones to a 10-day contract.

Jones most recently signed two 10-day deals with the Lakers.

The Kings waived DaQuan Jeffries to make room for Jones.

The Sacramento Kings are expected to waive DaQuan Jeffries, league sources told James Ham of NBC Sports Bay Area.

The Kings are likely to bring in another player to replace Jeffries, according to Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee.
