The Toronto Raptors have agreed to sign DJ Carton to a 10-day contract.

Carton has averaged 18.6 points and 5.7 assists for the Iowa Energy this season.

The Toronto Raptors filled their two open roster spots with callups from their G League affiliate, Raptors 905. Toronto signed Justise Winslow and Mouhamadou Gueye to 10-day contracts.

Winslow played in 17 games for Raptors 905 this season. The eight-year NBA veteran averaged 16.2 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game in the G League.

Gueye started in all 28 of his G League appearances. The 6-foot-9 forward averaged 14.3 points, 8.4 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game for Raptors 905.

The Toronto Raptors decided to keep Bruce Brown Jr. at the trade deadline.

Brown was acquired from the Indiana Pacers as part of the Pascal Siakam trade.

The Raptors hold a $23 million team option on Brown for the 24-25 season, which gives them optionality in the offseason. 

The Toronto Raptors have waived Spencer Dinwiddie upon his arrival via trade from the Brooklyn Nets. The Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas Mavericks, New Orleans Pelicans and Philadelphia 76ers are expected to have interest in Dinwiddie. 

Dinwiddie has a $1.5 million contract bonus for games played that the Raptors will avoid triggering.

The Brooklyn Nets have agreed to acquire Dennis Schroder and Thaddeus Young from the Toronto Raptors for Spencer Dinwiddie.

The Raptors signed Schroder to a two-year, $26 million deal during the 2023 offseason.

Dinwiddie is on a $20.3 million expiring contract.

Young is on an $8 million expiring contract.

The Utah Jazz have agreed to trade Kelly Olynyk and Ochai Agbaji to the Toronto Raptors for Kira Lewis, Otto Porter and a 2024 first round pick.

The first round pick will be the least favorable pick between the Oklahoma City Thunder, Los Angeles Clippers, Houston Rockets and Utah Jazz.

The Toronto Raptors have been offered a first-round pick in exchange for Bruce Brown Jr., sources told Michael Grange of Sportsnet.

Grange describes the Knicks as a "likely landing spot" for Brown.

The Knicks are offering a first-round pick in the upcoming draft, though the Raptors already have four picks in the top 31 selections in this draft and are looking for a first-round pick in a future year.

Brown has most recently been linked with the Jazz.

The Raptors are also looking to trade Chris Boucher.

The Utah Jazz have emerged with interest in trading for Bruce Brown Jr. from the Toronto Raptors.

The Jazz and Raptors have discussed a deal centered upon Brown for Kelly Olynyk and Ochai Abaji. Toronto has also been seeking a first round pick for Brown.

The New York Knicks and Los Angeles Lakers are also interested in trading for Brown.

The Boston Celtics are looking to upgrade their depth. Boston is working with limited resources, as their bigger salaries belong to key rotation players. That has the Celtics looking at more affordable options.

Two players who have emerged as targets for the Celtics are Otto Porter Jr. of the Toronto Raptors and Lonnie Walker IV of the Brooklyn Nets.

Porter has played in limited games for the Raptors over the last two seasons due to injuries. However, he was a big part of the Golden State Warriors defeating the Celtics in the 2022 NBA Finals. Porter would give Boston some forward depth.

Walker has played well in a reserve role for the Nets. He'd give the Celtics a bigger guard option off the bench.

Both Porter and Walker are set to be unrestricted free agents following this season.

Scottie Barnes and Trae Young have been named as injury replacements for the 2024 NBA All-Star Game.

Barnes and Young will replace Joel Embiid and Julius Randle on the Eastern Conference team.

In his third NBA season, the 6-7 Barnes is averaging career highs of 20.2 points, 8.1 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 1.48 blocks and 1.24 steals in 35.3 minutes in 50 games. 

Young has earned his third NBA All-Star selection in six NBA seasons.  He is averaging 27.3 points and career highs of 10.9 assists and 1.47 steals in 36.6 minutes in 45 games.
