The Oklahoma City Thunder have re-signed Josh Hall on a Two-Way contract. This will be Hall's second year with OKC on such a deal.

As a rookie, Hall appeared in 21 games with one start. He averaged 4.1 points and 2.8 rebounds in 16 minutes per contest.

Hall went undrafted at the 2020 NBA Draft after declaring as an Early Entry candidate. Hall did not attend college, but entered the draft from Moravian Prep, in North Carolina.

The Oklahoma City Thunder has signed guard Aaron Wiggins to a Two-Way Contract.

Wiggins played three seasons at the University of Maryland, and in his final season averaged 14.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 33.1 minutes per game. He was an All-Big Ten Honorable Mention selection and was named the 2019-20 Big Ten Sixth Man of the Year.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have signed Jeremiah Robinson-Earl to a four-year, $8 million contract.

Robinson-Earl was the 32nd overall pick in the 2021 draft.

The Oklahoma City Thunder announced that Nick Collison will be named Special Assistant to Executive Vice President and General Manager Sam Presti.

In his new role, Collison will continue to enhance his front office acumen while working closely with Presti and other key front office personnel on short-term and long-range initiatives and projects for the Thunder across many facets of basketball operations.

Prior to taking on his current position, Collison served the past two seasons as Basketball Operations Representative for the Thunder. In his previous role, Collison had touchpoints throughout the organization and the opportunity to develop his basketball operations skillset following his 14-season playing career with the Thunder franchise.

Kemba Walker gave up $20 million in his buyout with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Walker gave back $9.78 million in 21-22 and $10.2 million in 22-23.

Walker agreed to a two-year contract with the New York Knicks worth between $16 million and $18 million in total.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have rescinded their qualifying offer on Svi Mykhailiuk, sending him to unrestricted free agency.

Mykhailiuk averaged 10.3 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 23.0 minutes over 30 games with the Thunder.

Kemba Walker has agreed to a contract buyout with the Oklahoma City Thunder and plans to sign with the New York Knicks on a two-year deal.

Walker was owed $73 million over the next two seasons as he was halfway through a four-year, $140.8 million deal he signed with the Boston Celtics in 2019.

Walker has dealt with knee injuries over the past two seasons. Last season with the Celtics, Walker averaged 19.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.9 assists in 31.8 minutes over 43 games.

The Thunder acquired Walker from theCeltics in June in exchange for Al Horford and the 16th overall pick in the draft. Oklahoma City traded out of the No. 16 pick in exchange for a future first rounder from the Detroit Pistons and one from the Washington Wizards. 

Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report indicates the Knicks will pay Walker an annual average of $8 million.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has agreed to a five-year, $172 million extension with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Gilgeous-Aleander averaged 23.7 points, 4.8 rebounds and 5.9 assists in 33.7 minutes per game last season with the Thunder.

Mike Muscala has agreed to a two-year, $7 million deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Muscala is coming off a two-year deal with the Thunder signed in 2019.

During the 2019 offseason, Russell Westbrook placed a call with Kawhi Leonard expressing interest in playing with him for the Los Angeles Clippers. Westbrook's time with the Oklahoma City Thunder was coming to an end and he wanted to return to the Los Angeles area.

Leonard pondered the call, filed it away and then used it to reach out to Paul George on being the one to have a homecoming and joining him with the Clippers. George was content to stay with the Thunder and had formed a close bond with Westbrook. George was the player that was targeted by Leonard and the Clippers as they joined the franchise together that offseason. 

After being traded by the Thunder to the Houston Rockets a few days later in 2019, Westbrook was traded by the Rockets to the Washington Wizards in 2020. Westbrook was traded on draft day last week by the Wizards to the Lakers.
