Aminu will have a player option in Year 3.
Aminu spent the past four seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers.
Terrence Ross has agreed to a four-year, $54 million deal with the Orlando Magic.
Ross was expected to receive significant interest on the open market.

Vucevic averaged 20.8 points and 12 rebounds last season for the Magic, while also making his first All-Star team.
The Orlando Magic are expected to offer a four-year deal to Nikola Vucevic worth more than $90 million, sources tell Marc Stein of the New York Times.
The Magic hope to complete a deal with Vucevic shortly after the start of free agency.
Vucevic had a career season in 18-19, making his first All-Star Game before free agency.

John Hammond said that the Orlando Magic have to continue to be patient as Markelle Fultz recovers from injury.
Hammond, speaking in a radio interview with 96.9 The Game, said that Fultz will not play in summer league.
"He will not play in summer league with us. We didn’t think there was any way that he was going to do that. We didn’t plan on him doing that. So, probably not the place for him right now. But overall, I can just say that he’s doing well," said Hammond.
Hammond added that he still is in the dark about when Fultz will return to the court.
'We have no idea when that’s going to be. We’re hoping much, much sooner than later. But once again, we’re trying to do this the best we can, and that’s have that word of patience."
The Orlando Magic have extended qualifying offers to center Khem Birch and forward Amile Jefferson.
By extending qualifying offers to Birch and Jefferson prior to the June 29 deadline, Orlando owns the right to match any offer sheet they may sign with another team. Both players will become restricted free agents on June 30.
Birch (6’9”, 233, 9/28/92) appeared in 50 games (one start) last season with Orlando, averaging 4.8 ppg. and 3.8 rpg. in 12.9 minpg. He scored in double figures four times, including a career-high-tying 13 points on Mar. 14 vs. Cleveland, and pulled down 10+ rebounds twice, including a season-high 11 rebounds on Mar. 14 vs. Cleveland. Birch also appeared in five playoff outings, averaging 5.2 ppg., 6.2 rpg. and 1.00 blkpg. in 18.3 minpg.
Birch has played in 92 career NBA regular season games (one start), all with Orlando, averaging 4.5 ppg. and 4.0 rpg. in 13.3 minpg. He has also played in 70 career NBA G League games with Sioux Falls and Lakeland, averaging 12.1 ppg., 9.6 rpg., 1.7 apg. and 1.99 blkpg. in 28.0 minpg.
Jefferson (6’9”, 222, 5/7/93) was on a two-way contract last season with the Magic. He appeared in 12 games with Orlando during his rookie campaign, averaging 2.3 and 1.8 rpg. in 5.7 minpg. Jefferson also played in 34 games with Lakeland of the NBA G League, averaging 18.0 ppg., 11.3 rpg. and 3.8 apg. in 33.2 minpg., and was named to the All-NBA G League Third Team.
