The Orlando Magic have signed free agent guard/forward DaQuan Jeffries and free agent forward Vic Law.

Jeffries (6’5”, 230, 8/30/97) played with Orlando during the 2019 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. He appeared and started in five games with the Magic, averaging 13.2 ppg., 3.0 rpg., 2.0 apg., 1.40 stlpg. and 1.00 blkpg. in 27.7 minpg.

Law (6’7”, 200, 12/19/95) also played with Orlando during the 2019 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. He appeared in three games with the Magic, averaging 5.7 ppg., 4.0 rpg. and 1.00 stlpg. in 16.0 minpg.

The Orlando Magic signed Isaac Humphries to an Exhibit 10 contract.

Humphries played in five games for the Hawks last season.

The 21-year-old Humphries averaged 6.3 points and 3.7 rebounds in three games with the Clippers during Summer League.

Amile Jefferson has agreed to re-sign with the Orlando Magic on a one-year deal.

Jefferson appeared in 12 games last season with the Magic.

In Summer League this season, Jefferson averaged 16.4 points and 9.6 rebounds in 23.8 minutes per game.

Jefferson went undrafted in 2017 out of Duke.

The Orlando Magic have agreed to a Two-Way contract with Josh Magette.

Magette played well in Summer League with the San Antonio Spurs.

Magette is a 29-year-old point guard.

The Orlando Magic are "very unlikely" to have interest in trading for Russell Westbrook, according to Josh Robbins of The Athletic.

Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder are working on finding a trade solution. The Miami Heat and Westbrook reportedly have mutual interest.

The Magic are a playoff team in need of an upgrade at point guard.

Khem Birch has agreed to sign a two-year, $6 million deal with the Orlando Magic.

Birch joined the Magic in 2017.

The Orlando Magic waived Timofey Mozgov, who was due to earn $16.7 million this season.

The Magic acquired Mozgov last July in a three-team deal that involved Bismack Biyombo.

Josh Robbins of The Athletic adds that if the Magic stretch Mozgov's contract over the next three seasons, they could get under the luxury tax to potentially re-sign Khem Birch.

Michael Carter-Williams has agreed to a one-year deal with the Orlando Magic.

Carter-Williams began last season with the Houston Rockets and became a key contributor for the Magic.
