Kemba Walker will miss the Boston Celtics' matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers after having two minor procedures on his knee.
Walker also missed the Celtics' game on Friday night.
Walker said he didn't know when he'd return, though Brad Stevens speculated he may miss up to two weeks.
"Right now I think it’s just day by day depending on how I’m feeling. So, yeah, I’m not sure. We don’t have anything set yet, but yeah I’m looking towards just getting right, getting myself together and getting healthy. I just want to get back, I want to play. So that’s my main focus right now," said Walker.
Kemba Walker got his knee drained and received a Synvisc injection to help manage the swelling and soreness.
Brad Stevens said that the knee injury was unlikely to be a long-term issue.
"Knee looks good structurally. But he's going to be managing it and dealing with it, as he has all year," said Stevens.
Walker, who played 29 minutes in the All-Star Game, was ruled out for Friday's game against the Timberwolves.
The Boston Celtics revealed that they will retire Kevin Garnett's No. 5 jersey next season.
The team announced the decision via a video on the jumbotron during their 141-133 double overtime win over the Clippers.
Garnett will be the 24th retired jersey in franchise history.
"I'm honored and thankful to have my number retired with the Celtics. I will always have immense respect and appreciation for ownership, Danny Ainge, Doc Rivers, my past teammates and Celtic Nation!" said Garnett in a statement.
Doc Rivers discussed how Garnett changed the culture of the franchise.
"I've often said about him, he's the greatest superstar role player ever. He was a superstar, but he played his role for the team anyway, somehow. I don't know how he did that, but he did it. He changed the culture of this franchise. He really did. We needed a guy like that to come to the franchise, and he did that and it's still here. It hasn't left since. That was all Garnett."
The Boston Celtics "aggressively pursued" a trade for Davis Bertans at the trade deadline, according to Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated.
The Wizards are hoping to re-sign Bertans and resisted trade offers for him as he has a breakout season.
According to Mannix, the Celtics were "willing to go deep into the draft war chest to pry Bertains loose."
The "war chest" of the Celtics is an outdated mode of thinking as they only own this year's first round pick from the Memphis Grizzlies and the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Detroit Pistons have received trade calls from multiple teams on Markieff Morris.
The Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, Milwaukee Bucks, Philadelphia 76ers, Houston Rockets and Boston Celtics have registered interest in Morris.
Morris signed a two-year, $7.4 million deal with the Pistons during the 2019 offseason.
The Boston Celtics and Atlanta Hawks have been engaged with the Houston Rockets on a trade for Clint Capela.
The Rockets are pursuing first round picks to flip into a deal for a wing player and another center.
Both the Celtics and Hawks have had interest in upgrading the center position this season.
Capela was also the subject of trade discussions in the offseason.
Jaylen Brown and Damian Lillard have been named the NBA's Players of the Week.
Brown averaged 25.0 points and 6.3 rebounds as the Boston Celtics went 3-0.
Lillard averaged 45.0 points, 11.0 assists and 7.0 rebounds as the Portland Trail Blazers went 3-0.
Kemba Walker will miss at least the next 2 games due to left knee soreness, according to Brad Stevens.
"Kemba's out. Most likely, at minimum, the next two games, maybe, and then we'll reevaluate it after that," said Stevens.
Walker's knee began bothering him on Thursday night.
Stevens added that he didn't expect Walker's knee to turn into a long-term issue.
