Nike's Jordan Brand brought in $5.1 billion during the fiscal year of 2022, which reportedly nets Michael Jordan $256.1 million.

Jordan earns five percent of Jordan Brand revenue under his deal with Nike.

Jordan earned $90 million in salary during his NBA career with much of those earnings coming in his final seasons.

Jordan Brand earned $19.4 billion in revenue over the last five fiscal years.

The Charlotte Hornets have made it known they are interested in talking trades for most players on their roster. One young player garnering significant interest is Jalen McDaniels.

The Indiana Pacers, San Antonio Spurs, Toronto Raptors and Utah Jazz are all reportedly monitoring McDaniels and his potential availability. The Hornets value McDaniels, who they drafted and developed as a second-round pick. The Pacers, Spurs and Jazz could opt to pursue McDaniels in free agency vs trading for him now.

Charlotte has also been active in trade discussions involving Mason Plumlee and Kelly Oubre Jr. Both players are on expiring contracts. Plumlee has had a productive season as the Hornets starting center. Oubre is currently out with a left hand injury, but he should return shortly after the All-Star break.

A year ago, the Charlotte Hornets looked to be set at the forward position. A year later, it's a position in flux for Charlotte.

Both of this season's starters, P.J. Washington and Jalen McDaniels, will be free agents this summer. And Miles Bridges remains unsigned after domestic violence charges last summer.

With McDaniels an unrestricted free agent and Bridges' status still up in the air, Charlotte has rising interest in re-signing Washington. The fourth-year forward has started and played in 46 of the Hornets 47 games this season.

Washington has averaged a career-high 15.4 points per game, while maintaining solid shooting percentages. Charlotte can make Washington a restricted free agent this summer, by tendering him a $7.99 million qualifying offer.

The Charlotte Hornets have fallen to 12-34 on the season and are positioning for ping pong balls in the 2023 NBA Draft Lottery. Given that, the Hornets are ready to talk trades for some of the veterans on their roster. Charlotte is prepared to talk deals for Gordon Hayward, Terry Rozier and Kelly Oubre Jr.

Hayward is owed $30.1 million this season and $31.5 million next season. He's continually battled injuries throughout his Charlotte tenure, and since as far back as 2017 when he suffered an opening night injury with the Boston Celtics.

Rozier signed a four-year, $96.3 million contract extension before last season. He's on the Hornets books through the 2025-26 season at an average of $24 million per season.

Oubre underwent surgery to repair a torn ligament in his left hand on January 3. He's expected to miss 4-6 week, which would have Oubre in line to return right around the February 9 trade deadline. He's on an expiring $12.6 million contract, which could make him attractive to a contender looking for a rotation wing.

LaMelo Ball left the Charlotte Hornets' 122-117 win over the Houston Rockets with a sprained ankle and did not return.

Ball seemed unconcerned by the severity of the injury.

"I can walk and everything, so I'll just take it day by day and see what it is," said Ball after the game.

Steve Clifford was unsure if the injury would rule Ball out for Saturday's game against the Hawks.

Ball has now injured the same ankle three times this season, missing 24 total games with the injury. 

The Charlotte Hornets are considered a team that could become sellers as the trade deadline approaches. 

Terry Rozier, Mason Plumlee, Jalen McDaniels and Kelly Oubre are amongst the players expected to receive interest.

The Hornets are expected to listen to trade offers on Rozier, who has three years remaining on his four-year, $97 million extension.

The Hornets currently rank last in the Eastern Conference. 

PJ Washington met the 41-game starter criteria with the Charlotte Hornets and locked in a qualifying offer of $8.4 million this summer, reported Bobby Marks of ESPN.

Washington is the first player from the 2019 draft class who didn't sign an extension to meet the criteria. 

Washington is averaging 15.3 points and 4.6 rebounds this season. 

The Phoenix Suns have been looking for upgrades to their rotation, but have yet to find a deal to their liking. Phoenix seems primarily focused on adding another forward and that has the Suns interested in Jalen McDaniels of the Charlotte Hornets.

McDaniels is putting together a career-best season in his fourth year with Charlotte. The 6-foot-9 combo forward has averaged 10.1 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 26.5 minutes per game, which are all career-highs.

McDaniels is in the final season of the four-year deal he signed with Hornets as a rookie. His salary is just $1.9 million, making him an easy player to match salary for in a trade. McDaniels will be an unrestricted free agent following this season.

Phoenix is also continuing to try to find a home for Jae Crowder. The veteran forward hasn't played for the Suns this season, after he and the team agreed he'd sit out until a trade was found.

The Cleveland Cavaliers, Phoenix Suns, and Toronto Raptors reportedly had interest in trading for Kelly Oubre Jr. prior to Oubre's hand injury, sources told Marc Stein of Substack.

Oubre is set to be out for 4-6 weeks after undergoing surgery on a torn ligament in his left hand.

Oubre is in the final year of a two-year, $26 million deal with the Hornets. 

The Charlotte Hornets have refuted a report from ESPN that they are engaged in contract talks with Miles Bridges.

Bridges pled no contest to a felony domestic violence charge in November. Bridges' partner posted a series of images to Instagram detailing the abuse, which included a photo of a hospital report and injuries of a concussion, broken nose, rib contusion and bruising.

“We have not been engaged in contract negotiations with Miles Bridges,” the Hornets told the Charlotte Observer in a statement this week.

The Hornets declined to comment on the possibility of bringing Bridges back next season.
