The NBA suspended Nikola Jokic 1 game for leaving the bench area during an altercation between Mason Plumlee and Derrick Favors.
Jokic will miss Friday's game against the Suns. The Nuggets were surprised by the ruling as they went through their shootaround with Jokic in the lineup.
Plumlee and Favors each received fines of $25,000 and $15,000 respectively.

Isaiah Thomas is planning to make his Denver Nuggets debut before the All-Star break in mid-February. The 29-year-old Thomas, who signed a 1-year deal with the Nuggets, has been out since having hip surgery last March.
Thomas could return as early as their February 11-13th homestand against the Heat and Kings.
Thomas is expected to begin playing in 5-on-5 scrimmages in the near future.

Jokic led the Nuggets to a perfect 3-0 record by averaging 28.0 points, 13.0 rebounds and 9.0 assists.
Embiid averaged 31.7 points, 16.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 2.0 blocks and 1.7 steals over three games last week.
