Bucks Remain Interested In Trading For P.J. Tucker

Feb 22, 2021 8:23 AM

The Milwaukee Bucks remain interested in trading for P.J. Tucker of the Houston Rockets, sources tell Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer.

Milwaukee's interest in Tucker dates back to at least November.

The Bucks are incredibly limited in what they can trade in terms of future draft picks, which complicates any potential for a trade.

Donte DiVincenzo is widely considered Milwaukee's most valuable tradable asset.

Giannis Antetokounmpo After Fourth Consecutive Loss: No One Should Be In 'Panic Mode'

Feb 17, 2021 1:41 AM

Giannis Antetokounmpo preached remaining consistent and not panicking following the Milwaukee Bucks' 124-113 loss to the Toronto Raptors.

The loss represented the Bucks' fourth consecutive defeat.

"I kind of have a feeling that everybody is in a panic mode, which should not be the case ... When you come here, nothing can be easy," said Antetokounmpo after the loss.

The Bucks are now 0-9 when trailing after three quarters, and have the second lowest win percentage when games go into clutch time.

The team was also without Jrue Holiday for the fifth straight game due to health and safety protocols.

"At the end of the day, we lost four in a row, we're not going home. We're still here. It's not the playoffs. Obviously, it's frustrating. We want to win, especially a game like this. A big game, guys playing hard. ... You want to come out and win the game, but it doesn't always go your way. But, always you've got to look at the bright side of it. You still have another opportunity on Thursday. So, keep getting better, watch the film, improve, keep everybody in a good place and it's not the end of the world right now," added Antetokounmpo.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Says He Doesn't Care About Upcoming All-Star Game

Feb 6, 2021 12:58 PM

Giannis Antetokounmpo echoed LeBron James in saying he has no energy or excitement for this year's All-Star Game.

"We've got to all follow the big dog. The big dog says he has zero excitement and zero energy for the All-Star Game, and I'm the same way. I really right now don't care about the All-Star Game. We cannot see our families ... I've got zero energy, zero excitement.

"At the end of the day, if they tell us we're gonna show up, we've got to do our job. I'm always gonna do my job. I'm always showing up, showing the right example. But at the end of the day inside, deep down, I don't want to do it," said Antetokounmpo.

James described the decision to have an All-Star Game as a "slap in the face."

James Harden and Kawhi Leonard also backed James and Antetokounmpo.

"It's an opportunity to make more money. ... Just putting money over health right now, pretty much. Yeah, we are playing games now, and it is still a pandemic. We are doing all these protocols and rules, so it doesn't really surprise me," said Leonard.
