Damian Lillard is targeting a return against the Indiana Pacers on December 4, reported Chris Haynes of TNT.

Lillard was diagnosed with a Grade 1 calf strain earlier in November. 

The Blazers are now 1-4 without Lillard in the lineup.

Jerami Grant has only logged 20 games with the Portland Trail Blazers, but the veteran forward is already hinting at sticking around after the season.

“I’m satisfied right now,” Grant told HoopsHype. “I’m really happy with what we’re doing. We’ll just talk about it when it comes.”

Grant is set to become an unrestricted free agent in July, if no contract extension is reached with Portland before then. The eight-year veteran is eligible to sign an extension worth up to four-years and $112.6 million. Or Grant can wait until free agency and sign a first-year salary of up to a projected $40.2 million.

Portland acquired Grant from the Detroit Pistons this past offseason. The Blazers sent the Pistons a 2025 Milwaukee Bucks first-round pick and two future second-round picks in exchange for Grant.

The Portland Trail Blazers have announced that Damian Lillard will miss one-to-two weeks due to a Grade 1 strain of his right calf. Lillard was injured during the Blazers loss to the Utah Jazz on Saturday night.

Lillard previously said he hoped the injury would only keep him out for a couple of games. But Portland is going to be cautious with the start player.

The Trail Blazers have gotten off to a surprising 10-6 start. That has Portland tied with the Phoenix Suns and Memphis Grizzlies for second place in the Western Conference.

Lillard said he hopes to miss only a game or two this time around. He was injured in the Blazers loss vs the Utah Jazz on Saturday.

Portland has gone 3-2 in the five games Lillard has missed this season. Overall, the Trail Blazers are tied for second place in the Western Conference with a 10-6 record.

The Portland Trail Blazers have agreed to sign Ibou Badji to a two-way deal.

Badji has been with the Wisconsin Herd in the G League this season.

Badji is considered one of the best shot blockers outside the NBA.

Portland will waive Olivier Sarr.

The Portland Trail Blazers assigned Greg Brown III to the G League's Ontario Clippers.

The Ontario Clippers are the G League affiliate for the Los Angeles Clippers.

Brown III has appeared in just four games this season. 

Gary Payton II will not make his season debut for the Portland Trail Blazers until at least November 15, sources told Chris Haynes of TNT.

Payton, who signed a three-year, $28 million deal with the Blazers this offseason, is recovering from abdominal surgery.
