Lou Amundson has received free agent interest from the Miami Heat, New York Knicks, Chicago Bulls and Boston Celtics.

“Any of them would be great,’’ said Amundson, who has been working out in his hometown of Denver after being waived Feb. 8 by Minnesota, said of the teams looking at him. “They’re all good teams.’’

Amundson said that his agent, Mark Bartelstein, has had conversations with Heat president Pat Riley. 

The Heat are considering whether to fill their 15th roster spot.

Doc Rivers believe the Boston Celtics will sign Terrence Williams to a second 10-day contract once the first expires after Friday's game.

"I think so," Rivers said when asked whether Williams will get another 10-day deal.

Williams has averaged 4.3 points and 2.7 rebounds in three games with the Celtics.

The Boston Celtics have signed forward D.J. White to a 10-day contract.

White, a 6’9” forward, appeared in 32 games for the Shanghai Sharks of the Chinese Basketball Association this season averaging 21.6 points, 9.7 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 33.0 minutes per game.

Greg Oden will not decide on his next NBA team until free agency in July, according to agent Mike Conley Sr.

The Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat and Boston Celtics are in the mix for Oden, the former No. 1 overall pick.

Oden has not played since 2009 due to constant knee issues.

D.J. White will sign with the Boston Celtics within the next 24 hours.

White has finally received a letter of clearance from China.

A possible trade sending Kevin Garnett from the Boston Celtics to the Los Angeles Clippers for Eric Bledsoe and DeAndre Jordan was "closer to happening than people think," according to an NBA source.

Garnett, who has a no-trade clause in his contract, repeatedly stated in the weeks leading up last Thursday's trade deadline that he wants to retire as a Celtic.

Chris Paul reportedly asked Garnett if he wanted to come to the Clippers and that he had the power to make it happen.

The Boston Celtics will retire Paul Pierce's No. 34 regardless of whether he retires with the franchise or not.

Co-owner Wyc Grousbeck confirmed the Celtics' plans to honor Pierce while discussing trade rumors involving both him and Kevin Garnett.

Grousbeck hinted that the Celtics could also retire the jersey of Garnett.

The Boston Celtics, Brooklyn Nets, Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat and New York Knicks are scheduled to pay the luxury tax this season.

The Bulls have never previously paid the luxury tax and were unable to shed salary at the deadline.

The Los Angeles Clippers, Golden State Warriors and San Antonio Spurs are less than $1 million away from the tax threshold.

The Warriors traded away Jeremy Tyler and Charles Jenkins on Thursday to get under the tax. Golden State has never paid the luxury tax in franchise history.

The Lakers will have the largest luxury tax bill, as they currently are nearly $30 million over the threshold, while the Celtics are over by less than $1 million.

The Boston Celtics reportedly called the Brooklyn Nets in regards to Paul Pierce trade with a high asking price.

The Celtics sought MarShon Brooks, Mirza Teletovic, Kris Humphries and two future first round picks for Pierce.

The Nets also worked on a deal for Josh Smith.

Chris Paul contacted Kevin Garnett prior to the trade deadline to gauge his interest in joining the Los Angeles Clippers.

According to a source, Paul called Garnett and said that he if was open to joining the Clippers, then Paul would make it happen.

Garnett declined to waive his no-trade clause to go to the Clippers.

The Celtics and Clippers reportedly discussed a deal that would have sent Garnett to Los Angeles for Eric Bledsoe and DeAndre Jordan.
