RJ Hampton is expected to enter the league's healthy and safety protocols through the All-Star Break, sources told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

There is also additional contact tracing ongoing within the Nuggets organization.

The Nuggets have three games remaining before the break. 

The 2021 first round pick from the Minnesota Timberwolves owned by the Golden State Warriors and Michael Porter Jr. are widely considered the two most valuable trade assets on the market.

The Warriors acquired the top-3 protected pick from Minnesota as part of the D'Angelo Russell for Andrew Wiggins trade.

Denver has so far been reluctant to trade Porter in their conversations for Jrue Holiday and James Harden. It remains to be seen whether the Nuggets would reverse course should Bradley Beal come to market.

A game between the Denver Nuggets and Cleveland Cavaliers was added to the schedule on Friday.

The newly scheduled game replaces a previously scheduled game between the Hornets and Nuggets that was postponed due to contact tracing. 

The Denver Nuggets ultimately passed on making a serious offer to the Houston Rockets for James Harden and appear to be in the same mode now of seeking internal improvement to take the next step in their pursuit of a title.

Sources tell Sam Amick of The Athletic that "the Nuggets' focus at the moment is on improving this group as it's currently constructed."

While Nikola Jokic has been an MVP candidate and Jamal Murray has been inconsistent, Denver's future could be tied to the improvements made by Michael Porter Jr. 

Jokic has played more of a leadership role for the Nuggets of late, particularly with Porter.

BetOnline has published odds for which team Bradley Beal will play for next if he's traded before the deadline on March 25th with the New Orleans Pelicans given the best odds at +250.

The Denver Nuggets (+300), Golden State Warriors (+350) and Dallas Mavericks (+400) round out the top-4.

The Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers are considered longer shots at +1000 and +1200, respectively, despite their reported interest in Beal.

Both Beal and the Washington Wizards have maintained that a trade is not desired currently.

James Harden and Nikola Jokic have been named the NBA's Players of the Week for Week 6.

Harden averaged 25.3 points, 11.3 assists and 7.3 rebounds as the Brooklyn Nets went 3-1.

Jokic averaged 30.8 points and 10.8 rebounds as the Denver Nuggets also went 3-1.
