An MRI on Draymond Green's right knee came back clean on Monday, according to Steve Kerr.

Green is questionable for the Warriors' game against the Blazers on Tuesday.

Green has missed two straight games after suffering the knee contusion last Thursday against the Lakers.

Green was set to undergo further testing, and could possibly get an MRI.

Green sustained the injury in the Warriors' first game out of the All-Star break Thursday against the Los Angeles Lakers, when he bumped knees with Jarred Vanderbilt.

Green's knee unexpectedly flared up Sunday afternoon, something Steve Kerr categorized as a "setback."

Green will undergo further testing Sunday, Kerr said, possibly including an MRI.

Andrew Wiggins will remain away from the Golden State Warriors indefinitely due to a family matter.

Wiggins missed the Warriors' final game head of the All-Star break and didn't play on Thursday against the Los Angeles Lakers or on Friday against the Houston Rockets.

The Warriors have stressed that Wiggins is in good health and will return to the team when he's ready to do so.

Wiggins has played in just 37 of 59 games this season.

Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr gave several updates on his team's health, as they start the final portion of the regular season. Among those updates, Kerr revealed that Klay Thompson will play in both games of back-to-backs coming out of the All-Star break.

Thompson has yet to appear in both ends of a back-to-back set since returning in early-January of 2022. The Warriors have three sets of back-to-backs remaining this season. That includes a back-to-back to open the post-All-Star portion of the schedule on Thursday at the Los Angeles Lakers and Friday at home against the Houston Rockets.

Gary Payton II admitted he was surprised to be back with the Golden State Warriors after being traded at the deadline from the Portland Trail Blazers. But Payton said he wasn't surprised he failed his physical.

Payton confirmed he has taken Toradol for pain since his surgery, but clarified that he never took shots of the medicine.

"Me just being a competitor, I wanted to get out there. No shots, though," Payton said. "I just had to get through it and get it done. The medical stuff wasn't that big of a deal. I wanted to play and go out there and help my teammates and coaches."

Payton also said he's not surprised the Warriors will hold him out for at least a month. He'll spend the next month on rehab and strength and conditioning. Payton said he hopes that will allow him to return before the start of the playoffs.

"I know my body, so I think I'll know when I'm ready to go out there and get to be able to be myself," Payton said. "It took longer than usual, and my body just wasn't ready. It's still not ready, so we'll just take it day by day."

Steph Curry has returned to individual, on-court workouts and is set to be re-evaluated in one week, according to the Golden State Warriors.

Curry has missed the last five games with a lower left leg injury.

"We know we are going to be without Steph for the foreseeable future, so same thing as what happened the last time he went down ... we patch things together," said Steve Kerr on Wednesday.

The Warriors return from the All-Star break on Thursday against the Lakers.

Patrick Beverley chose to sign with the Chicago Bulls, but he very nearly joined the Golden State Warriors instead.

"I'm going to be taking my talents back home," Beverley said on his podcast. "It was between Golden State and the Bulls. Obviously, it's always good to play with a lot of great talent in Golden State, but y'know, a lot of guards over there. So, I figured I could make a playoff push with the Bulls right now, and kinda pop them up a little bit. The east is kinda weak. I'm excited man, I'm excited. I get to take my son to school. I get to take my son and baby girl to school, I get to pick them up, I get to rep my city on my chest."

The Warriors have a surplus of guards though the availability of both Stephen Curry and Gary Payton II is uncertain as they deal with injuries.

Gary Payton II will be out for at least a month due to an injured abdomen, according to Bob Myers.

The Warriors hope to have Payton in time for the playoffs.

The Warriors approved the trade for Payton on Sunday after the guard initially failed a physical, with the team believing that the Blazers withheld medical information during the process of the trade. 

The Warriors asked the league to investigate the failure to provide medical information. 

The NBA could punish the Blazers with a fine or a loss of draft picks.

"What do I want [from the investigation process]? Whatever the NBA says is fair. I just want a fair result," said Myers on Monday. 

The Golden State Warriors will re-evaluate Steph Curry after the All-Star break, though there is no specific date for his return from a left lower leg injury.

Curry said that he will miss the team's first game following the break against the Lakers, and may miss several more. 

"Ligaments can heal in all different types of timelines. So there's a window for each checkpoint.

"After the All-Star break, I will hopefully get back on the court, and then depending on how things go from there, we can key in on a specific date to get back," said Curry.

Curry added that he can currently do almost any activity not related to on-court basketball, including lifting weights and biking.
