The Phoenix Suns have agreed to a two-year Cameron Payne.

Payne last played in the NBA during the 18-19 season with the Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers.

Payne averaged 13.2 points, 4.7 rebounds and 7.2 assists in 15 games in the G League this season.

Two players on the Phoenix Suns have tested positive for COVID-19.

The positive tests led to Suns temporarily shutting down voluntary workouts at Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum, sources say. 

Mikal Bridges, Elie Okobo, Frank Kaminsky III, Dario Saric, Jevon Carter, Aron Baynes, Jalen Lecque and Cheick Diallo have participated in the workouts.

Phoenix is one of 22 teams set to participate in the restart of the 2019-20 season beginning July 31 in Orlando.

Kelly Oubre Jr. is expected to miss the resumption of the NBA season as he recovers from injury, sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Oubre had arthroscopic surgery on a torn meniscus in his right knee on March 3rd.

Oubre averaged 18.7 points and 6.4 rebounds per game this season.
