The Atlanta Hawks will sign Cam Oliver and Chris Clemons to 10-day hardship deals.
Oliver appeared in four games last season with the Houston Rockets. In 14 G League games this season, Oliver is averaging 14.1 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 27.3 minutes per game.
Clemons appeared in 33 games during the 19-20 season with the Rockets.
In 14 G League games this season, Clemons is averaging 16.3 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.9 assists in 27.6 minutes.
The Atlanta Hawks have signed Justin Tillman to a 10-day contract.
Tillman joins the Hawks from the College Park Skyhawks, Atlanta’s NBA G League affiliate, where he has appeared in 14 games (nine starts), tallying 13.1 points and 7.5 rebounds in 22.0 minutes per contest (.590 FG%, .619 FT%). At the NBA G League Showcase, Tillman recorded back-to-back double-doubles, averaging 24.0 points and 16.0 rebounds in 26.5 minutes (.700 FG%, .600 FT%).
The 6-8 forward saw action in eight games (two starts) for the Memphis Hustle during the 2018-19 season. In total, he has appeared in 22 career NBA G League contests (11 starts), averaging 11.5 points and 6.7 rebounds in 20.6 minutes (.551 FG%).
The Atlanta Hawks have signed Chaundee Brown Jr. to a 10-day contract.
Earlier this season, Brown was with the Los Angeles Lakers where he appeared in two games on a two-way contract. After going undrafted in the 2021 NBA Draft, the 6-5 guard saw action in five Summer League contests with the Lakers and five preseason games. In those five preseason outings, he averaged 7.6 points and 1.4 rebounds in 12.1 minutes (.467 FG%, .455 3FG%, .714 FT%).
Brown has appeared in six games (all starts) with the South Bay Lakers of the NBA G League this season, averaging 17.0 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 33.3 minutes (.446 FG%, .333 3FG%, .800 FT%).
Atlanta Hawks forward John Collins has entered the NBA's health and safety protocols. Unless Collins returns two negative tests at least 24 hours apart, he'll be out for at least 10 days.
The NBA and NBPA are negotiating to reduce the time in the protocols to six days (from 10 days) for asymptomatic and vaccinated players.
Collins is the only Hawk to play in all 32 of the team's games this season. He's averaged 17.6 points, 7.9 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game this season.
Atlanta forward Jalen Johnson was also placed in the protocols. The addition of Collins and Johnson gives the Hawks 10 players currently in the protocols.
The Atlanta Hawks will sign Cat Barber to a 10-day hardship deal.
Barber went undrafted in 2016 out of NC State and had been playing for the Hawks' G League affiliate.

The Atlanta Hawks plan to sign forward Wes Iwundu to a 10-Day hardship contract. Iwundu will join Malcolm Hill and Lance Stephenson as hardship players for the Hawks.
Atlanta is without Trae Young, Clint Capela and Danilo Gallinari due to the NBA's health and safety protocols. The Hawks also have Solomon Hill and De'Andre Hunter out with long-term injuries.
Iwundu has played for the Orlando Magic, Dallas Mavericks and New Orleans Pelicans. Iwundu was waived at the end of the 2021 preseason by the Charlotte Hornets.
Lance Stephenson has agreed to a sign a 10-day contract with the Atlanta Hawks.
Stephenson will rejoin Nate McMillan, who he has played for twice previously.
Stephenson last played in the NBA during the 18-19 season.
With COVID outbreaks around the NBA, combined with injuries, several NBA teams are struggling to put competitive rosters on the court. As such, the NBA has postponed five games through Tuesday, December 21.

New Orleans Pelicans at Philadelphia 76ers - Sunday, December 19

This brings the total number of postponed games to seven. The league previously postponed two Chicago Bulls games against the Detroit Pistons and Toronto Raptors.
The NBA and NBPA are continuing talks on increased roster sizes, as well as lack of cap/tax penalties when a player is signed via hardship.
The Atlanta Hawks and Cleveland Cavaliers game scheduled for Sunday has been postponed. Hawks star Trae Young was ruled out early on Sunday due to entering the NBA's health and safety protocols.
Cleveland has it even worse as multiple Cavs, including Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley have been ruled out due to positive COVID tests. This left Cleveland unable to suit up the required eight players for Sunday's game.
This is the third postponed game of the 2021-22 season. The NBA previously postponed two Chicago Bulls games against the Detroit Pistons and Toronto Raptors.
