The Houston Rockets are not picking up their $5.9 million option on Avery Bradley, which will make him an unrestricted free agent.

Bradley and the Rockets mutually agreed to part ways.

Bradley is expected to receive interest from multiple contending teams.

Matthew Hurt has agreed to a Two-Way contract with the Houston Rockets.

Lillard has said he expects to remain with the Blazers next season, but he has become clear in his desire for more urgency in their efforts to contend for a title.

Should Portland eventually decide to trade Lillard, executives in the NBA expect the Blazers to receive a return for Lillard comparable to what the Brooklyn Nets sent the Rockets for Harden. Lillard is signed for four more seasons at $176 million total.

The Houston Rockets prefer Jalen Green over Evan Mobley at No. 2, sources tell Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer. Teams are planning for scenarios in which the Rockets select Green at No. 2 even though Mobley is ranked second on the draft boards of most executives, scouts and draft analysts. 

Green spent last season in the G League with the Ignite while Mobley was a one-and-done at USC.

The Rockets have a longer time horizon, which could allow them to be patient with the upside of Green.

The Detroit Pistons own the top overall pick and league sources have recently emphasized that it is "highly likely" they will stay in that slot and select Cade Cunningham at No. 1.

Teams believe Cunningham will go first whether or not there is a trade involving the pick.

The Houston Rockets own the second overall pick and "would love" to end up with Cunningham.
