The Detroit Pistons have agreed to sign Micah Pottery to an Exhibit 10 deal.

Potter previously played under a 10-day contract with the Pistons last season, appearing in three games.

In 33 G League games, Potter averaged 17.2 points and 9.8 rebounds in 28.8 minutes with the Sioux Falls Skyforce. Potter was an All-Rookie First Team selection in the G League. 

The Detroit Pistons re-signed Rodney McGruder, sources told Keith Smith of Spotrac.

McGruder averaged 5.4 points and 2.2 rebounds in 51 games last season. 

The New Orleans Pelicans are attempting to hire Sammy Gelfand away from the Detroit Pistons.

Gelfand is currently the Director of Coaching Analytics with the Pistons.

Gelfand previously spent five years with the Golden State Warriors where he worked with Willie Green.
