LeVert will undergo more testing but he could return around the start of the season.
The Indiana Pacers acquired LeVert last January as part of the wider James Harden trade. LeVert was diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma as part of the physical following the trade.
Edmond Sumner sustained a torn left Achilles during an offseason workout on Thursday.
Sumner will be out indefinitely; and updates will be provided as warranted.
An Achilles tear is typically has a minimum recovery of 12 months.
The Indiana Pacers have signed wing Nate Hinton to a non-guaranteed training camp deal. Hinton was recently waived from a Two-Way contract by the Dallas Mavericks.
Hinton spent his rookie season on a Two-Way deal with Dallas. He played just 93.3 minutes over 21 NBA games with the Mavs. Hinton split time in the 2021 G-League bubble with the Santa Cruz Warriors and Long Island Nets. In 12 games in the G-League he averaged 9.7 points and 6.1 rebounds per game.
T.J. Warren’s stress fracture in his left foot is healing during the rehabilitation process, but not at the pace previously anticipated.
Warren remains out indefinitely, and further updates will be provided as warranted.
