The Milwaukee Bucks have signed guard Keyon Dooling to a contract, General Manager John Hammond announced today.  

A 10-year NBA veteran, Dooling averaged 6.9 points, 2.5 assists and 1.0 rebound in 53 games (eight starts) for the New Jersey Nets last season.  He enjoyed his best statistical season in 2008-09 when he averaged 9.7 points, 3.5 assists and 2.0 rebounds in 77 games for the Nets.

The Kings and Bucks have completed a sign-and-trade for Jon Brockman, sources have confirmed.

Brockman was drafted by the Kings out of the University of Washington.

The Bucks are expected to be among the teams interested in free-agent guard Luther Head.

Head had a deal in place with the Hornets, but the team backed out after a shift in the front office and a supposed failed physical.

Luke Ridnour has signed a four-year, $16 million contract with Minnesota, agent Lon Babby has confirmed.

Ridnour had a comeback season in 09-10 with Milwaukee.

The Timberwolves are close to signing free-agent point guard Luke Ridnour to a multiyear deal, according to league sources.

The Minneapolis Star Tribune is reporting that the contract is worth $16 million over four years.

Bucks guard Michael Redd is being cautious in his recovery from a second major knee operation and may not return to the floor until February, according to a report.

Redd is worried that rushing back will result in another major setback.

He is due an insured $18.3 million next season as he enters the final year of his contract.

The Milwaukee Bucks have signed first round draft pick Larry Sanders to a multi-year contract, general manager John Hammond announced Thursday.

Sanders, a 6-11, 235-pound forward, was the 15th overall selection in the 2010 NBA Draft.

He played three seasons for Virginia Commonwealth University, and averaged 10.3 points, 7.7 rebounds and 2.7 blocked shots per game while shooting 52.0 percent from the field over his college career.

The Bucks have traded the draft rights to 2010 second round draft pick (44th overall) center Jerome Jordan to the Knicks for cash considerations, general manager John Hammond announced Thursday.

As a senior, Jordan averaged 15.4 points and 9.4 rebounds in 35 games for the University of Tulsa and was named to the Second Team All-Conference USA.

The Bucks are conceding that they'll likely lose free-agent guard Luke Ridnour.

Milwaukee would love to retain Ridnour, but as an unrestricted free agent he's being courted by a number of teams.

"I don't think so," Bucks general manager John Hammond said of Ridnour. "I think it's going to be difficult for us."

Wesley Matthews went undrafted last June, but could soon sign a contract worth the mid-level exception.

Sources told FanHouse that Portland, San Antonio, the Lakers and Milwaukee have contacted Matthews.

The Bucks are likely out of the running after re-signing John Salmons and the Lakers may have bowed out as well after adding Steve Blake.

There is still a chance that Matthews could return to the Jazz.

"There's no question his loyalty is to the Jazz," said Wesley Matthews Sr. "They gave him a chance. But it has to be a fair, market-value deal."
