Aug 31, 2022 8:29 PM

The news came from an unexpected source, but the Golden State Warriors are reportedly set to bring in Jerome Robinson in on a training camp contract. ESPN's lead NFL insider Adam Schefter broke the news in a departure from his normal duties covering the gridiron.

Robinson spent last season with the Santa Cruz Warriors of the G League. In 22 games, Robinson averaged 20.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game for the 2022 champions minor league affiliate.

The 6-foot-4 guard out of Boston College was selected with the 13th pick of the 2018 NBA Draft. Robinson played the first two-and-half years of his career with the LA Clippers. He was traded to the Washington Wizards at the 2020 trade deadline and went on to appear in 38 games in DC over one-and-half seasons.

Aug 18, 2022 9:02 AM

Andrew Wiggins was a recent guest on The VC Show with Vince Carter. Wiggins talked about how gratifying it was to win the 2022 NBA title, but that he's still not satisfied.

Wiggins said his primary goal is helping the Golden State Warriors repeat as champions, but that he also has an individual goal for next season too.

“One thing I’m really gonna strive for this upcoming season is being on the (All-)Defensive Team,” Wiggins said. “That’s a big goal of mine. Hopefully I opened some eyes in the playoffs and I can be on the radar. I ain’t get not one vote this year! I took it personal in the playoffs!”

Wiggins is regularly tasked with guarding the opposing team's best wing. In the 2022 NBA Finals, Wiggins was lauded for his defense work against Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics.

Warriors Holding Last Guaranteed Roster Spot For Andre Iguodala

Aug 3, 2022 12:44 AM

The Golden State Warriors are holding the last guaranteed spot on the roster for Andre Iguodala, Steve Kerr told Anthony Slater of The Athletic.

Iguodala has yet to decide whether to return for next season or retire.

“I leave Andre alone,” Kerr said. “He knows where we stand. If he wants to come back, we’d love to have him ... whenever he makes his decision is fine with us.”

The Warriors currently have 13 players under guaranteed contracts.

According to Slater, Iguodala would take up the 14th spot should he return. The 15th spot on the roster would then either be won in camp or left open to save tax money.
