Kelly Olynyk will sit out the FIBA World Cup for Canada due to a knee injury suffered in an exhibition game last week.

X-rays on Olynyk's knee came back negative.

Olynyk is expected to be ready in time for the regular season.

Udonis Haslem has agreed to re-sign with the Miami Heat.

Haslem will be playing his 17th season in the NBA.

Haslem went undrafted in 2002 out of Florida and has spent his entire career with the Heat following one season in France.
